Chapter 14: The Healer
The woman stepped close and wrapped her arms around Roshène in a warm embrace.
Roshène stiffened, her immediate reaction to pull away, but as deep restful waves of reassurance flooded her, she relaxed.
Sefa took her hand and another wave of relief swept through her as the healer led her over to one of the chairs and sat down opposite her. “I’ll go over what will take place today, and if you have questions, I’ll do my best to satisfy them.”
One of Jayna’s constant quotes popped into her mind. In for a penny, in for a pound. Perhaps Sidhe magic could undo the damage Zelo had inflicted on her friend?
