“Jessica, my dear, how are you?”

She steps into the house carrying some groceries and I almost tackle her. I kiss her deeply on the lips and grope her. “Shall we talk and lie on the bed and manhandle one another?”
“Dinner must be on its way, Epstein.”
I grab the groceries and run over to the kitchen and place them on the counter. “Please, play with me. I’m feeling so damned depressed I was thinking of shooting myself earlier in the day, but thought of you and Sylvia and decided against that wretched idea. I thought of you. Yes! Let’s put the stuff in the refrigerator and go and lie on my bed.”
