It’s finally here: the meeting with the Alpha werewolves in the hopes of improving lycan-werewolf relations.
I don’t like the idea of being unavailable in this meeting all day while Evelyn is ill. She has insisted on sleeping in her own room for a week now and she spends all day holed up in the library instead of spending time with me or Emma for fear of getting us sick, too.
I admit that at first I was worried this was another escape attempt, but she’s still here. Besides, she visibly looks ill. She’s pale, moving sluggishly, her eyes constantly swollen.
She finally agreed to let Dr. Zorinski examine her today since her condition doesn’t seem to be improving. I’m very worried about it.
