Chapter 38 - Adventurer's Guild
The city of Grossroads was divided into five parts. At the top of the mountain range was the central part of the city. In this part lived aristocrats of different kinds. People did not have enough of a reputation to get into the center of the city. The rest of Grossroads was divided into four parts. A high wall enclosed the ancient city and had four gates. Dan entered the city from the west side. Each part of the city had its branches of important city Guilds. As Dan Raven reached the western Guild of Adventurers he had time to think several times about how this city lacked a subway or cab. There was no transportation in the city!
