Into the real word

I woke to find Dylan playing away on his watch and laptop, kind of just assume he is upgrading or changing things. Its none of my business so I just grab a cup of coffee and sit down to watch the morning news. Dylan - can we go out today? I looked over at him a little surprised. Tom - Yeah if you want where do you want to go? Dylan - I was thinking the country park a couple of miles away. Tom - Yeah thats fine, what time do you want to go? Dylan - About lunch time? Tom - Yeah sure Dylan went back to his watch and laptop so I just went back to watch the TV. After an hour I headed to my office, I pulled an old neurological interface out of a box which we were using as an interrogation device, I set up a world on the pc and started trying to program tastes. It was clear that this was going to be one of the more long winded things I had to do, fortunately there was some food already programmed in for the Interrogation stuff but there was a lot missing. the bonus is time inside a computer goes pretty much as fast as the connection and PC can handle so I got about 50 food programmed in before the timer kicked me out. I got up and my legs gave way, the interface often made your muscles go a little funny because it works simular to the headset from that anime, what was it called? meh I can't remember but yeah, so i got back up and then headed to shower. I like my shower, its not the conventional type, this one is a full wet room, no curtain or toilet, I have a separate bathroom with a bath in it but the shower room is a real case of boys and their toys, TV built into the wall, a speaker phone, blast jets for massaged, hidden g*n locker behind the picture of a duck and an air dryer so I don't need to mess with towels. If you're still caught up on that g*n locker, come on, you already know what I do, I have weapons hidden all over this place and even some out in the town. whilst in the shower I'm surprised by Dylan's voice, I turn to see him looking at me his face red, eyes wide and jaw dropped. There no f*****g towel in her so I drop to the ground covering my c**k like some kind of fat kid that just got pantsed at school. Tom - CLOSE THE DOOR!!! Dylan closed the door and just stood there still staring at me Tom - WITH YOU ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ROOM!!! He opened the door and left, I got up and finished my shower and dried off before grabbing my dressing gown off the back of the door and walking out, Dylan looked at me and went bright red before looking away. Tom - I didn't even know you could go red. Dylan - I added it to my program, i spent a lot of the night researching and adding sexuality stuff. Tom - Just knock next time Dylan - okay, I'm sorry Tom - Its fine. so what else did you learn Dylan - I also learned that friendships aren't mutually exclusive to the same gender and relationships aren't mutually exclusive to the opposite gender, of course I already knew that, i just didn't know it in the right type of context. I also figured out how to add temperature to my body too. Tom - well that will make you seem more realistic at least. Well I'm going to go get dressed. I came out of my room and Dylan was sat on the couch again, I got my shoe's on and my jacket and looked towards Dylan. Tom - well I'm ready to go, do you want me to set you up some new clothes? Dylan - No need Dylan pressed a few things on his watch and his basic white clothes change to a pair of jeans and a tight fitting shirt. Tom - When did you get abs? Dylan - according to the internet this is attractive. Tom - First day out and you're already going to try to pick up women, well this is going to be good, come on. We walked out the door and stood the for a minute as Dylan looked up at the sky, almost like he was trying to take in every detail of it. Tom - Come on, the sky alone will take up to much of your memory. Dylan - why? Tom - Well there is so much detail in the sky even a humans dreams can't render it or they only dream of a very small piece of it. We set of walking and Dylan constantly had this look of amazement and confusion on his face, it was obvious he was seeing all this for the first time. Dylan - Is that not dangerous? - he said looking towards a car driving past Tom - well that depends who is driving ahaha Dylan - I mean because its a metal box with a potentially explosive machine in the front of it. Tom - oh no, its perfectly safe, its very stable. It was kind of annoying answering all these questions but interesting seeing some learn about all these new thing that all humans take for granted since we have pretty much always had them. We got to the country park and started to follow the trail, Dylan was taking in everything touching the trees, stopping to pet random dogs and staring at the ducks and other birds on the lake. At one point he fell over and then continued to purposely fall over another 3 times to learn the experience. I swear people must have thought he was crazy. he even asked if he could keep a Butterfly. I have to admit though, he stopped to speak to a few people and he clearly did well with his research, no one would have guess he wasn't person, notice how i missed off the word normal. That was until a kid dressed as Spiderman said I'm Spiderman to which Dylan said I'm a hologram. It was a genuine face palm moment, luckily the kids parents clearly wrote it of as him feeding into the kids imagination I guess. We were out for a good few hours already as we started to head for the entrance so we could go home. Tom - Dylan I need you to remember you can't tell people you're a hologram Dylan - sorry, I forgot Tom - Its fine, just be more caref... Dylan - No way, I actually forgot, thats awesome the new programming is working. Tom - What new program? Dylan - I have set up a system that will take random memories and archive them until I consciously try to think about them or keywords or phrases trigger them. Tom - Alright, thats pretty cool but you should take another look as well, certain things you shouldn't just forget. We got home and Dylan exclaimed that he was cooking dinner and ran to the kitchen so I went to my office to continue working, there was more i had to figure out with this food thing. Like storage and disposal.
