"Von."
The school bell just rang, meaning, class just ended.
As students gather their stuff to leave, Damon stood in front of Yvonne.
"Oh. Hello Mr. I-don't-know-the-name." she mocked with a raised eyebrow, obviously still mad at what happened earlier.
Damon sighed.
Brat. He thought.
Yvonne grabbed her bag and was about to leave but Damon blocked her way to stop her.
"What the hell do you want?!" she said through gritted teeth.
Damon looked around to see other students leave.
He then watched the human's back walk out the door, noticing how her long hair is smoothly flowing down to her slim waist.
He couldn't help but wonder how it would feel like between his fingers, both the hair and waist.
He's in trance, but quickly snapped out of it when she was gone from his eyesight.
When the six of them are the only remaining, he looked at Yvonne again.
"You're backing down." he started, cold and emotionless.
"What?" Yvonne asked, confused.
"I'll bid one fifty, I get the girl."
His statement made Yvonne scoff.
"Well, I'll bet three hundred, then I get the girl." she answered with challenging look in the eyes.
Damon have the same as he looked back.
"No, you won't. You're backing down."
"Why would I?"
"Because I told you to."
"Hm.... Yeah, that's not enough."
"Then how about a deal."
And that raised Yvonne and the other four's attention as they look at the two simultaneously.
Trevor hugged Sam from the back, his chin on her shoulder.
"Interesting." he whispered.
You see, as a person gifted with incomparable power and skills, Damon doesn't bargain.
Combat is his way of negotiating.
And he's never the one shedding blood.
But here he is, offering a deal.
But for what's worth? Yvonne wondered as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Go on."
Damon ran a hand through his hair.
"Don't bid, and I'll do one request in return."
"One? No thanks. My father can do infinite."
"But with limited range." It's his turn to cross his arms. "I know you want something."
He leaned down, decreasing the distance between their faces into a couple of inch.
"Something your father can't give you."
Yvonne swallowed, and it made him smirk.
"Perhaps something from my family?"
Sam and Colt exchanged looks.
Yvonne lightly pushed him in the shoulder to give herself some space.
Pressure can be suffocating.
She looked him in the eye.
Hoping she could glance onto something that will make her understand him.
She searched his face for any hint of what answer he's expecting.
Nothing.
She released a deep breath.
"Will you give me the Black Luna if I back down?"
The four warrior's eyes widened at that.
Yet Damon remained emotionless as he stare at her.
He was quiet and in deep thought, as if calculating something.
A minute of silence passed between the six before Damon blinked once.
"Five days, and it's yours."
