Facepalm

Ann kept frowning even when we got home. She called today a disaster but I think it was pretty much fun. I've never been in a gathering like this before but I must confess that I find it amazing. "People actually came." I mused, still can't believe it. I got to see things from people's perspective. Truly I thought Ann wouldn't welcome none Virgins. I quickly took a shower and then dressed up in my beautiful sexy dress. I applied just powder and lip gloss. I'm not a makeup person, that's a lie ..I just don't know how to do makeup and I have no one who knows how too. "Ann." I called as I comes down the stairs. "I'm off Ann.." I was saying before I saw who's already here. Alex. But for some reason Ann kept him on the door. They seem to be discussing something serious. I finished walking down the stairs and walked to stand in front of Alex. I smiled when he finally saw me and smiled. Ann finally seems to have noticed Alex's attention is elsewhere because she turned and then looked at me, her eyes widened. "Muna, that dress is too reviewing." I sighed, disappointed. I thought she was going to say I look so beautiful in the dress with the way her eyes widened. "I was just telling Alex here not to lay a finger on you before you two are wed and.." I rolled my eyes mentally, blocking the rest of her nagging. When I noticed she was done I said. "Ann I can't keep Alex waiting but don't worry, Alex here is my Prince Charming for life." **** **** "I'm okay with being a Virgin. I do not feel comfortable doing what the crowd does, and give a temporary gift to any individual. My life will not be miserable if I stay a Virgin , nor will my life improve if I'm no longer a Virgin." Halona read out what she wrote on the white board and when she was done she handed the marker to the next person which is Chelsea ..before going back to her seat. We all began looking at Chelsea when she didn't get up to write. Today is all about writing down the reason you chose to be a Virgin and not. "Chelsea." Ann called. She looked up at Ann and answered "yes?" "It's your turn, why aren't you up and writing?" Ann asked. Chelsea looked away. "Because I don't have anything to write." She muttered, but we all heard her. Ann walked to her and squatted to her level. "Why are you a Virgin?" She asked. Silence. Chelsea didn't answer. After a while she just face palmed. Ann moved back to her seat when Chelsea insisted on staying the way she was. Lucy was the one who spoke next, that's after Chelsea finally sat straight. "Why did you face palm? It's f*****g rude." Lucy said. Chelsea looks at Lucy. "When people asks why I'm a Virgin, it makes me face palm. I didn't know I needed a reason to be a Virgin." She replied.
