I know that Colton and Dolton cannot fight one another, even if it's just playful, because of my aunt. She told me that for alphas, any challenge is a challenge, and the desire not to lose is overwhelming, so they will literally beat each other to death.
Miracle must not have been paying attention to that conversation, or maybe she thinks that her mate is above that sort of instinct; I’m really not sure, but she accepts my joke about Colton’s face, which I want to believe was her realizing that a fight between the brothers would be a severe problem.
‘Thank you,’ Colton mimes, and I nod, seeing the relief written all over his face.
