Chapter 11: Movie Night with The Wanted

ANNA'S P.O.V

I woke up with a massive headache, I groaned as I stood up and made my way to the bathroom. I remember yesterday's event and I had to admit that it was so much fun with Nathan. He has changed and I honestly like the new 'Nathan'.

I still can't get over the fact that we actually kissed yesterday. Though I felt guilty to kiss him behind Nick but honestly, I like the kiss. Weird, isn't it? Especially that Nathan and I were kind of enemies, not anymore now.

I unlocked my phone to see if I got any calls or texts from Nick. Not even once. Where is he anyway? He hasn't texted or called me since he left to the states. I managed to text him first.

To: Nick❤

Hey, are you busy? Xx

I put my phone back on the night stand as I took a quick shower. Once I'm done, I grabbed my towel and walked back to my room. My phone vibrated to a text, I quickly grabbed it expecting a reply from Nick but instead, it was from Nathan.

From: Nathan Sykes

Hey, wanna come over and watch movies?

To: Nathan Sykes

Sure! I'll be there soon

It's Sunday and I have nothing to do so why not watching movies with Nathan? I dressed up and put my converse on. I unlocked the door and found my mom and dad watching TV. I walked past them, telling them that I'm going to watch movies with Nathan. They nodded and I left the house.

I pressed the bell and heard footsteps coming. I was hoping it Nathan but instead.. it was Kelsey.

"Hi Kelsey" I smiled.

"Hey Anna!" she pulled me into hug. "Nathan is waiting you inside, c'mon!"

I walked in with her. When we reached the main house, everyone was already there but I didn't see Nathan.

"Is that Anna I see?" I heard Jay said.

I chuckled. "Yeah it's me, Jay"

"Oh my God!" He ran to hug me, I laughed. Soon the others joined us into a group hug. I love them so much!

"It's so nice to see you again, Anna" Siva gave me a warm smile.

Gosh I fuckin love his cheekbones, they are so sexy.

"You too guys" I laughed.

"Ah there you are" I heard someone spoke. I turned around to see Nathan, with his still wet hair, fresh from the bathroom. Dear Lord. He looked so sexy. "Enjoying what you see?" he smirked.

"In your dreams, Sykes" I rolled my eyes, everyone laughed.

"Alright who wants to watch movies then?" Max asked, everyone cheered.

We prepared all the stuff to watch movies. Jay turned the lamp off and closed all the window to make the room dark, Siva and Tom grabbed the pillows and threw them on the carpet, Max was setting the DVD player, Nathan looked for the DVDs, the girls and I went to the kitchen to grab popcorns, drinks, and skittles.

We came back to the mini theater in the house and gathered. Max with Carrie, Siva with Nareesha, Tom with Kelsey, and I sat between Jay and Nathan. The guys chose to watch a horror movie called Sinister. I have never watched it but I'm sure it's gonna be so scary. And I'm not really a fan of scary movies, I'm easily terrified.

The movie started with 4 people stood with their faces covered by pouch and their necks hooked by ropes. In any time, they were drawn up and hanging, they were shaking, obviously trying to gasp for air but their hands were tied so they died of losing oxygen. Gosh the movie is just started and I'm already terrified.

I looked over to see the girls cuddled up with their boyfriends. While I'm stuck here between Jay and Nathan. Well Jay obviously has fallen asleep. I convinced my self not to be scared to watch. Luckily the scene changed to a man with his family who has just moved into a new house in the middle of forrest.

An hour passed but it seemed like 10 hours to me. I'm getting so terrified, I barely open my eyes because I'm too scared to watch. Somehow I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Nathan.

"You scared?" his voice calms me. I just nodded slowly. He pulled me closer to him and I didn't hesitate to rest my head on his shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm here" he said, holding my hand. I can't help but smiled. I feel safe beside him.

We continued to watch. The scene was so dark, and the background horror sound in the movie made me sick. It's getting even scarier when the man watched a video where a mower was running and suddenly a head of a guy appeared and it ran over the head and making the sound of head crushed and bleeding. I immediately closed my eyes and hid my face into Nathan's chest. I'm so terrified and I didn't realize I was crying.

"Hey, hey, are you okay?" Nathan looked down to see me. I cried, he wiped my tears and brought me into his hug. "Sshh it's okay, it's just a movie. Come on, let's just leave" he said. We pulled away and he took me out of the room.

He took me to the kitchen and made me a cup of tea. I sat on the kitchen counter, closing my face with my hands. I'm so embarrassed right now.

"Hey, it's okay. Here drink it" he handed me a cup of tea, I took it and drank it immediately. He looked at me and smiled, making me smile too.

"Thanks, Nath"

Our faces were just inch closer. I looked at those lips, those soft lips. He did the same. We were getting closer and closer and our lips were about to meet when suddenly my phone vibrated.

Way to ruin the moment.

I cleared my throat. I took out my phone from my pocket and looked at the screen, Nick was calling. "Excuse me, I have to take this" I excused myself and walked away from him, answering the call.

"Hey babe" I heard Nick on the phone.

"Hey there"

I honestly missed him so much.

"I'm so sorry for not calling when I arrived here 2 days ago. I was busy with everything and this timezone sucks too"

"It's fine, Nick. I understand. I miss you already, how are you and everything?"

"I miss you too, babe. Well it's great to be here, just had a meeting earlier and the competition will be held the day after tomorrow"

"You'll do great, honey. You're going to win this! Good luck Nick!"

"Thank you babe! And how are you? Everything's good?"

"I'm good, yeah everything is good. Just watched movies with the lads"

"The lads? Who?"

I was about to answer when someone walked into the kitchen, it was Tom.

"Guys where's the chips?" Tom shouted as he looked for the chips, he didn't see me on the corner of the kitchen.

"Who is that?" Nick asked, clearly heard Tom's shout.

"It's Tom, Kelsey's boyfriend, remember?"

"Oh that nice lad, yeah I remember him. Wait, are you in The Wanted's house? And Nathan is there too?"

"Yeah he's here, but don't worry we're good. In fact we're now-"

"Be careful with that guy" he cut my words. "He's a jerk and rude to you. I don't want you to meet him, okay? You're mine"

I chuckled. "I'm all yours, baby"

"Good. Well I gotta go babe, I'll call you again tonight. Be safe. Love you"

"Looking forward to that, and I love you too Nick"

And the call ended. That was unexpected. Nick clearly doesn't like Nathan. I understand why though, on the first day they met Nathan gave a bad impression to him so no wonder why Nick doesn't like him. But how do I not meet Nathan as Nick said? I mean, Nathan is now my friend.

"Was that Nick?" a soft voice said. I turned to look at Nathan, I didn't realized he was still there. I thought he had left.

"Erm yeah"

"Oh" he said then just walked away.

What's wrong with him? He seemed a bit.. weird. I just shrugged and came back to the room. Everyone just laid on the carpet. But I didn't see Nathan. Where could he be?

"Guys where's Nathan?" I asked.

"I thought he was with you?" Jay looked up to me. I just shook my head. "Well maybe he's in his room. Go find him there"

I just nodded and headed to Nathan's room upstairs. As I reached in front of his room, I heard Nathan talked to someone. Who was he talking to?

"She's got a boyfriend... What do you want?!... No... No I don't want to... You're crazy... f**k you" is all I could hear, seemed like he was on the phone and was mad to whoever was on the phone with him. Then I heard footsteps coming to the door and I immediately ran downstairs.
