Chapter 25: Little family

NATHAN'S P.O.V

I walked across my house when a little girl came running to me. She had dark brown hair and dimples on her cheeks. She was beautiful, she looked like someone I knew. She looked like Anna. I stared at her for a moment to see another similarities. She had my eyes and Anna's lips. She looked probably like 4 years old with her barbie doll in her hand. I got on my knees as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Daddy!!"

Daddy? Is she my daughter?

"Daddy! Daddy! I want another barbie!" she pouted as she threw her barbie from her grip.

I was confused. I'm sure I don't have any children of my own.. yet. And who is this girl and why is she calling me 'daddy'?

"There you are"

A voice that I recognized spoke as I turned around. There stood Anna with her floral dress and ... a baby?

She smiled as she looked at me. But something's different with her. She didn't look like 20, she looked more adult. But she is still beautiful. She is still as beautiful as she was, even more beautiful at her 'now' age. She carried a baby in her arms as she walked closer to me.

"Are you okay? You seem confused" she asked as she rubbed my cheek with her soft thumb.

"Where am I? And why are you looking more...adult?" I hesitated to say the last word.

She furrowed her eyebrows before taking me by the hand and brought me into a room where it had a very big mirror. I raised an eyebrow to her.

"Look closer" she smiled at me.

I hesitated at first but looked at my self in the mirror. I was so surprised to see what I have just seen. I looked so different. I looked older. I looked like 30 years old with facial hair.

"I-I don't understand" that was the first word that came out from my mouth.

"What do you not understand?" she asked behind me.

I watched now as both of us standing in front of the mirror, followed by the little daughter and a baby in her arms. We looked like a family.

"Are we a family?" I asked, still looking at the mirror. She smiled and turned me around so I faced her.

"Yes. We are married for 6 years and they are our kids" she said.

I smiled at her and the girl smiled at me as she raised her hands for me to pick her up. I did it constantly and she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"I love you daddy" she kissed my cheek.

"We love you Nathan" Anna smiled at me.

And we both turned around again to see ourselves in the mirror. A complete family.

"Why are you smiling like that?"

I opened my eyes to find Anna already staring at me, she raised an eyebrow to me as I looked at her. Wait, so that was just a dream?

"Was I sleeping?"

"Yes, Nathan" she spat, rolling her eyes.

I frowned. "Why are you mad?"

"How did I end up wearing my pajama? I sure hell remember I was in my outfit from yesterday" she folded her arms.

"I changed it for you, okay. I didn't want you to sleep in jeans so I had no choice to change your cloths. You were peacefully sleeping and I didn't have a heart to wake you up"

She sighed and looked at the ceiling. "Don't ever do that again"

"What happened?" I sat up.

"I don't have a good body" she mumbled so quietly but I could still hear her.

"You are kidding right?" She closed her eyes instead. "Look at me" I said once again and this time she looked at me. "You are beautiful. You are the most beautiful girl I've ever met in my life and you do have a good body. Don't be ashamed of your body because honestly I love you just the way are, sweetheart"

She smiled at me and I brought her up to give her a big hug. She should have not be ashamed of her body. She is so insecure. I pulled her closer and leaned in to kiss her soft lips.

"Thank you" she smiled at me.

"You don't need to thank me babe" I smiled at her.

We laid back on the bed and she laid her head on my chest as I stroke her hair. I love to cuddle with her.

"I had a good dream last night" I said, breaking the silence.

"What was it about?"

"About us. I had a dream that we both were married and had 2 kids" I smiled even though she couldn't see me.

"Really? Tell me about it"

I told her about my dream. Probably the best and cutest dream I have ever had in my life. I have never had a dream like that, not even when I was with Ariana. It was a very cute dream and I wish it could happen one day. To have a little family with Anna, have 2 kids (or more) and raise our kids together.

"That's so cute! How did I look in your dream?" she looked up and put her chin on my chest.

"You look beautiful. As beautiful as you are now" I smiled at her. I could see her blushing, she's so cute.

"Do you like your dream?" her eyes shining.

I nodded. "I do. In fact, I really love my dream last night, especially when you were a part of my dreams. I wish that dream would happen one day"

She giggled at me, making my chest vibrated. "I wish that too" she said softly.

"You do?"

"Maybe yes, maybe no" she stuck her tongue out at me and got up but I quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her back to bed.

"Not so fast" I smirked at her and turned over so I was on the top of her.

"Don't you dare" she had a worry face but I just smirked.

That's when I tickled her. She laughed so hard and tried to pull away from me but I kept tickling her. I knew she's so ticklish but that's the punishment from running from me.

"Stop I can't br-breath" she said between her laugh.

"Say that you love me and that I'm the most handsome guy you've ever met"

"Yess yes I love you and you are the most handsome guy I've ever met, please Nathan stop" she begged.

I stopped and pecked her lips. She breathed heavily but then buried her face onto my chest.

"I love you Nathan, don't leave me" she said softly.

"I love you too Anna, I won't leave you, ever"
