Chapter 23: LA

ANNA'S P.O.V

"Babe, wake up"

I was woken up with the voice of someone's calling my name. When I opened my eyes, I saw Nathan smiling at me. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"Morning babe, we're going to be landed soon"

I nodded and looked out the window to see the bright sky. The captain announced that we will be landing in about 20 minutes. I excused my self to use the restroom. I got up and went to the queue because there were about 3 people waiting to use the restroom too.

"Hello," someone greeted behind me. I turned around to see a guy around my age. He had light brown eyes that actually look so gorgeous.

"Hi" I greeted.

He smiled and extended his hand to me. "My name is Thyme"

I just stood there, focusing on his name then something felt so funny, I burst into laugh. "Thyme? Isn't that the name of a herb?"

He shrugged. "Well, my mom is a professional chef and somehow she thought it would be a brilliant idea to name her son after thyme"

I laughed harder. "No offense, but your name sounds hilarious. Honestly I've never heard or met someone whose name is Thyme"

He chuckled. "It's fine, I was told that many times and sometimes use my name for a laugh too"

I chuckled. "That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that"

"Nah it's fine, I'm used to it" he grinned. "So.. do you have a name?"

"Oh right, where's my manner. My name is Anna"

He nodded. "Beautiful name you got there"

I smiled. "Thanks"

Just when he wanted to say something, someone came out of the restroom. I took this chance to get in for my turn.

"Good to know you, Thyme. I'll see you again"

"You too, Anna"

I closed the door as I waved him goodbye. I did my business, washing my face, and used the spare toothpaste to brush my teeth. I brushed my hair and tied my hair into a messy bun. When I'm done, I walked out of the restroom to find Thyme was nowhere to be seen. So I came back to my seat and found Nathan was busy writing something.

I sat down on my seat and buckled my seat-belt. "What ya doing?"

He seemed surprised to see me and quickly folded the paper in his hand. "Nothing, I didn't do anything" but I could see something written 'more than you'll ever know' or something. Probably a song he has been writing.

"Okay then"

After a while, the plane has finally touched down. I sighed in relief as the captain announced that we have safely landed in Los Angeles. Everyone stood up to take their luggage from the cabin. Nathan stood up first before he extended his hand to help me. I smiled at him and he pecked my lips before taking his bag. The plane door opened, Nathan took me by the hand as we walked out to the arrival gate.

"I'll just use the restroom for a minute" Nathan said as we arrived at the building.

"Okay, I will wait you here babe" I smiled before he headed to the male's restroom.

I sat on the couch and put a song in shuffle. I listened to Claire de Lune, my favorite. I closed my eyes as I appreciated the song, the thing I do to appreciate the great music. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder, I opened my eyes to see Thyme.

"Thyme? Hey!" I stood up and take off my earphones.

"Hey, what are you doing here sitting and closing your eyes?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Well I'm just waiting for my boyfriend from the restroom and I decided to listen to some music"

He frowned. "You have a boyfriend?"

I just nodded in reply. I don't know why he asked that.

"Oh alright, well since this is probably the last time we meet, I would love to get to know you.. in a friendly way. I mean, I would love to make new friends"

I nodded. "Sure I would love to!"

He took something from his bag before handed it to me. It was a card name. "Here's my number, you can call or text me if you need anything"

I took his card name and my eyes widen as it was written "Thyme Jones - Hollywood Actor".

"You are a Hollywood actor?!" I almost shouted at shocking.

He giggled. "Well not so famous actor but yeah. I'm still new in film industry, in fact my movie has not even been released so yeah"

"But that's amazing! What's your movie called? I should be watching it later" I said as I put his card name in my pocket.

"It's called The Scorch Trials, it will be released this September"

My jaw dropped. "No way! You mean, you are in the same movie with Dylan O'Brien and Thomas Sangster?"

"Yeah they are my bros"

I squealed. "HOLYSHIT you're so lucky! I love them both so much, they are my favorite"

He chuckled. "Who doesn't love them, well I will tell them about you. I'm sure they will love to hear it"

My jaw dropped. "You will?"

"Yeah of course, I can even take you to meet them if you want" he winked at me.

"Oh my God I would love to! Thank you so much, Ty" I jumped to hug him. He seemed surprised but just chuckled and hugged me back.

Today has just got better and better

Before I could pull away, someone cleared their throat behind us. I finally pulled away and turned around to find Nathan folding his arms, and he looked. so. not. happy. to. see. us.

Oh s**t!

"Who is he?" Nathan asked calmly, but I could sense anger in his tone of voice.

"Hi, my name is Thyme" Ty said as he extended his hand to Nathan but Nathan just glared at him, not even bother to shake Ty's hand.

Nathan turned to me. "We need to leave, NOW" he spat before walking away.

I sighed and turned to Thyme. "Ty, I'm very sorry for his attitude to you. Look, it was really nice to see meet you but I gotta go. I'll see you some other times perhaps"

He nodded. "Okay. See you soon"

I quickly ran to catch up Nathan. We finally stopped at the claim baggage as we waited for our luggage. He just stood there, not looking at me. I felt bad for doing this to him. I didn't mean to hurt him like this, I just gave Thyme a friendly hug.

"Nath?"

No response.

"Nathan?"

No response.

"Babe?"

He sighed then turned to me. "Do me a favor and just focus on looking for our luggage then we can get out of here as soon as possible, okay?"

I gulped and just nodded. He looked away again and I have never felt so bad to him. I should have not hugged Thyme like that, knowing that Nathan could see it. I will just explain it later after he has calm down.

After we took our luggage, we headed to the front gate. There were fans everywhere, Nathan put his beanie and sunglasses on. I followed behind him as we passed the fans and paparazzis.

We finally managed to get in the car where Jay, Siva, and Nareesha already waiting. They gave me hug before closing the door. Nathan took a seat beside Jay, obviously not wanting to sit beside me. I sighed and managed to sit beside Nareesha.

The whole ride filled with an awkward silence. Nathan kept looking out the window while I just stared at my hands, feeling so guilty. Jay, Siva, and Nareesha noticed something was wrong with us but decided to just be quite which I'm grateful for.

After a while, we finally arrived in The Wanted's house and man.. it was so damn HUGE! Jay helped me to take my suitcase from the car whilst Nathan had already stormed in the house, leaving me with Jay, Siva, Nareesha.

"I don't want to sound noisy but what's wrong with the two of you?" Jay asked as we reached the living room. I sat on the sofa and rested my head on the headboard, letting a loud sigh.

"It was my fault" I said as I closed my eyes.

"What happened?" Siva asked.

I sighed and explained to them everything back at the airport where I first met this Thyme guy and how we ended up hugging and Nathan caught us. I really didn't mean it like that, I just wanted to give Thyme a quick hug but Nathan just came in a wrong timing.

"Well it's not your fault at all, I know you were only trying to be friendly to that Thyme guy. Nathan was just being jealous. All guys would be jealous if their girlfriends hug another guy in front of them. Just go to him and apologize, he will forgive you. He's not a type of guy to hold grudges" Jay said as he sat next to me, giving me a big hug.

"Thanks bird, I really appreciate that" I smiled at him.

"Aww hun you both will be okay. Nathan loves you so much and he won't be mad at you for so long. He's just scared that he would lose you. You know at how much you mean to him baba" Nareesha took my hand and gave me a hug as well. I love this girl so much.

"Our baby Nath loves you so much Anna" Siva said and joined into the hug.

"Thank you guys, you really help me a lot" I hugged them.

"Is that Anna's voice I hear?" I heard Max said from a far.

"Hey there!" I said as I finally saw Max came along with Tom.

"Heeeey sister!" their eyes widen and immediately ran to hug me. I giggled at their cuteness. They are the best brothers I have ever had!

"I miss you too guys" I chuckled.

"Glad to see you again babe" Kelsey came with Carrie.

"Kelsey! Carrie! I miss you girls so much"

We pulled away and I told them that I needed to unpack my stuff. I gave them a goodbye hug before going upstairs with Kelsey leading me to my sharing room with Nathan. After she left, I opened the door of our room and saw Nathan standing by the porch. His back was facing me so he couldn't see me. I put my suitcase near the bed and walked to where Nathan stood.

He didn't move any inches even though I have made a quite loud noise from my footsteps. I sighed and wrapped my arms around him from behind, rested my chin on his shoulder. He stiffen but soon relaxed.

"I'm so sorry," I began. But he didn't say anything. "It wasn't like what you think. Thyme and I met on the plane, we just talked a bit and just like that. Then when you used the restroom at the airport, I met him again. And I found out that he is friends with my favorite actors and he offered to take me to meet them next time and I was over the moon because they are my favorite actors so I just kinda gave him a quick hug, a friendly hug I must say"

He still didn't say anything so I stepped ahead in front of him and looked at him. He looked upset and angry.

I sighed as tears escaped my eyes. "Nathan I will never cheat on you. I love you so much and I don't ever want to hurt you. Please, I'm so sorry about today, Ty and I are just new friends that's all"

He finally looked at me. "I don't want to lose, Anna"

"And you won't lose me Nathan, I promise"

He smiled at me and wiped my tears as he pulled me into hug. It was our first misunderstanding in our relationship. We are not perfect, we make mistakes.

"I'm so sorry" I cried.

He shook his head. "No, don't. I'm not mad at you, Anna. I'm just.. I was just pissed, but not anymore now. I'm sorry I overreacted too"

I smiled. "It's okay. Nathan I love you so much"

"I love you too Anna"

He pulled away and leaned in to kiss me. I didn't hesitate to kiss him back. He ran his hands on my cheeks and brought me closer to him as our kiss deepen. It was a passionate kiss, a forgiving kiss.

We pulled away and grabbed my hand, we laid down on the bed and just cuddled. I need this. I need to cuddle with him and listen to his heartbeat that sounds like a rhythm to me. I laid my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
