The Girl With The Tiger Eyes

I was going to start on everyones training once we were all settled in. After I was done sitting up the training area. I walked over an sat down on an old fallen down tree then started making myself a new bow staff to fight with. Since I had lost my bow staff during the siege of the castle. Snakes walked over an sat alongside me an started making a few bows and spares. That they could also use to fight with if they needed to. Once we where all done with what we was doing we then called over the older children. We then handed each one of them a weapon. Most of the guards children knew how to use them. The others will require training. After that we gathered all the children back up an took them back to the cave. The wolf Shifters an I took turns watching over the cave at nights. Snakeyes also helped with the night patrol.

Snakeyes:Pov

Tigereye has been taking on so much on her own. I try to do what ever I can to make things easier on her. She is our princess and will be a might queen one day. But in eyes she is already a queen.

She still so young like the rest of us. But she already strong, smart an beautiful.

I will follow her to the end an protect her with my life.

She set up a training program for the other children. So during the daytime they have all been trained very hard. I noticed alot of the children were becoming stronger. They were getting a lot better with even their own powers.

But some needed to learn not to use their powers in less they really had to do so.

Because the more we use our powers without having our dragons to help give us a power reboot it can just drain us. Making us too weak to be able to fight back. All of us needed to develop our other skills so that we could use them instead. One night Tigereye decided that she was going to go to the village to trade a few things. We really needed some new clothes and a few other things as while. She got up one morning bane had already gone out for the morning hunt. So she told me that she was going to walk into the village and get us all a few things that we could really use. So she packed a travel bag to take along with her then let me know that she was leaving. I hated that she was leaving with a guard to go with her. She always so independent.

As she was walking away from me I asked her are you sure you don’t want anyone to come with you. She look back at me and said yea I am sure. We need as many of the older ones here to keep watch over the younger children while I am gone. I sighed then said ok to her. Then told her to be careful you know that Emperor Rulla’s man are all over these woods looking for us and especial for you.

I will my friend. She says back to me I will be careful I promise. So she waved bye and want on her way. I hated to watch her walk away by herself. But I had no doubt she could take care of herself. Plus there just some about her.

Everytime something is wrong with her I can just tell it. I can feel when she's in trouble or hurt. So if I get any kind of bad feeling I'll go look for her.

Tigereye:Pov

It wasn't long before I had reached the little village that Snakeyes had told me about everyone here was so happy and very helpful. I talked with so many people an had even made a few new friends to. The people in this village are so nice and kind.

I even meant an nice old lady here that ran one of the stores in the little village. It was across the street from a small tavern. Which was a bar and an inn for travelers that stopped in the village and might need a place to sleep for the night and get something to eat at. I took some of the furs into the old lady's store hoping she would do some trading for them. The old lady loved the fars and did trade a few things with me that we really needed. When I was done I said bye to everyone then started walking out of the village back towards the care. When I caught a glance of some really nice looking horses at the blacksmith’s stable. There were a few foals there.

I couldn't help but think to myself. Men those horses are so beautiful. So I walked over to the stable were the blacksmith was inside hammering on some horseshoe that he was making for one of the farmers big plow horses.

I knocked on the side of the barn then said excuse me. I have a few questions for you sir. He yelled out one minute mam as he was walking up to the big horse and picked up his hoof then put the hot shoe on the horses hoof and nailed it on.

Once he was done he walked over to the stable door an then said to me how can I help you my lady?

Blacksmith:Pov

I gaze into the beautiful young Ladies eyes and I couldn’t help but think to myself I have seen eyes like that before but were at.

They were beautiful blue eyes but like a tigers eyes there was nothing normal about them. I was snapped out of his thoughts when she then asked me if any of the horses for sale or maybe trade. I answered while a few of them are. Are you interested in a few horses?

I couldn't help but think she was pretty young. An I did noticed alot of the stuff she got from in town was for even younger children. I wonder if she is going though a rough time an is taking care of the children on her own. she looks at she could use a bit of a back.

Tigereye:Pov

I then asked to him as I was looking in the direction of the horses an foals.

How much do you want for a few of the horses over there. He asked the foals? I said yes sir the foals. I am very interested in them they would work out for me once they have gotten older. He then asked me do you wanted any of the older horses that can be ridden now. I told him while it would be nice to have a few that can be rode now to but I am not sure if I can get them right now. He then said to me while I saw that you was bring in some far’s into town an was trading with the other villagers.I shook my head yes. He then continued to say so that means you must do some hurting. I then said to him while yes we do some hurting. He then asked how many of you all are there. I didn’t want to tell him too much. So I answered just a few of us we are new to these parts. He then said while this is what I can do for you all. If you can bring me two deer four rabbits and ten fish to me. Then I will give you the two foals and two horses that can be ridden now. Can you handle that? I then asked him why do you need so much food?

He then said to me because I have one son and two little girls and my wife is very sick. I am so busy working hear every day or taking care of my wife so I don’t have the time that I need to go out hunting or fishing.

Fish has the most protein and that is what my wife needs to eat the most of right now so that she can keep up her strength. I then asked him how long has your wife been sick?

He answered she’s been sick for six years now we have tried everything that we know of to try to make her better. But so far nothing that we have try has helped her any. I don’t know what else there is that we can try for her right now.

I felt bad for him and his family so I agree to the terms. Then asked him to writing it down for me so I can show it the others.

He shook my hand then said yea sure I can do that for you. While I was waiting on him to write it down for me.

I walked around and looking at some of the weapons that the blacksmith had made.

Hes work was very good an the metal was good quality for it not be dragon metal.

As he stood around the corner writing everything down. I then asked him do you make bow staffs he said answered back why yes I do what kind of style are you looking for. I said something pretty but it has to be strong enough to fight with. He said ok while let me see what I can come up with for you. I walked over and picked up one of the daggers that he had sitting on the table and touched the end of it to see how sharp it was. I accidentally cut the palm of my hand a little bit. But it wasn’t too bad. I looked at my hand. It was odd because my wound wasn't healing like it usually does when I get injured.

I then asked the man what is this dagger made out of?

He looked around the corner at the dagger then said to me it's made of graphite and steal my lady. Then asked why do you ask. I then said oh no reason I was just wondering. He was around the corner finishing up writing down the terms. I checked to make sure he wasn’t looking then picked up another one of the daggers and cut myself with it to see if the wound would heal or not. An the other wound still wasn't healed.

Blacksmith:Pov

I looked right at her from around the corner. I saw her cut her hand with one of my blades. Then I saw her hand as it was bleeding healed up as if it had never been cut before. The other cut that was from the graphite an steal blade still wasn’t healing like the other one had. After I had saw her hand heal I know where I had seen those eyes from before. They are a one of a kind with those people.

They look alot like Queen Catalina’s eyes. Then I knew exactly who she was. I called out to her loudly excuse me my lady can you come in here please. I have some I would like to show you. She walked into my tack room in the stable. I grabbed hold of her arm and pulled her to the side. Then said to her as I looked into her eyes I know who you really are Tigereye. She teased up she was afraid of what I was going to do.

I then said to her what are you thinking coming here? If Emperor Rulla’s men find you here they will kill you for sure. On top of that you need to watch what weapons you mess with.

She visible started relaxed some once she realized I wasn't going to hurt her.

She then asks what mean by watch what weapons I touch. Why does it matter what weapons I touch. She must have not been told about her own weakness.

I then said while I am guessing you didn’t know that kind of weapon can kill you. Some weapons can keep you from healing and is like poison to your body.

I picked up a jar that was on my shelf then said I all ways keep some of this around in case I need it for something like this. I opened the jar an rubbed some of the sab on her head. I then handed her a jar of Sab and said this will help pull the toxin out of the body so it can heal. You are the Queen Catalina’s daughter. Aren’t you. She looked at me then nodded her head yes. I then said to her it isn’t safe for you here.

The Emperor’s men come in here from time to time to pick up goods and ask about people like you. They know that some of you all exist his grasp an is looking high an low for you all. I then took her by the hand an took her inside of my home

it would be safer to speak then told her it would be safer to speak with her in here. She sat down at my table then I told her a little bit about herself. She didn’t even know that graphite was toxic to her body or that it could kill her. It is very deadly to any of the ones from the royal bloodline I told her. She then asked me how do you knew all of this about my family. I then proceeded to tell her that I was a shifters too an that no one but my family knew. An I told her how I haven’t lived in the village for many many years now. I how I was born without any special powers and no matter how hard I tried could not shift like most of the other shifters in the village could. So when I was sixteen years old I decided that I no longer fit in the village I told Queen Catalina how I felt and asked permission to leave the village. So that I could find out who I was going to be. She gave me her graze and gave me everything I needed to have travel. I said bye to my family and friends. I traveled all over until I came upon this small village here. Everyone was so nice to me and took me in with open arms. So I settled down here and met my wife. I have made a good life here with my family and wouldn’t change it for the world. But I do ament that it is nice to see some of my own kind again. We had heard that the Village Of shifters had been destroyed.

Everyone here was very sad when we all had heard of the news. I then asked her are there any of the other villagers still alive and what about King Caro and Queen Catalina. Did they make it out of the village too?

She looked at me then put her head down and said no the king and queen are died.

So far that I know of only a hand full of us younger children made it out alive.

But there were a few that was in slaved most of them were young women. So far that I could tell all of the older villagers where killed during the siege. I put my head down and said oh I see then I looked back up at her then said to her I will help you all out the best that I can. She thanked me then said while I better get going back to the others before the wolf pack starts looking for me. She shook my hand then thanked me again and then said to me it was really nice talking with you and hope to do more of it very soon. She then pulled the hood of her cloak up over her head an walked out of the door. Just as she was starting to walk away I said wait one moment please I have something for you.

I then ran into the stable an gathered all the weapons I could spear and put them into a bag. I then walk out of the stable with the bag full of weapons that I had made an then handed them to her.

Then said here take this with you. You all might need them and I will get right on that bow staff for you. If you need anything else just let me know ok. She took the bag from me and said thank you so very much. She then walked off into the woods.

I watched her as walked into the dark woods and disappeared into them.

Once she was gone I returned back to shoeing the big plow horses that I had been working on before she showed up here.

Tigereye :Pov

As I walked through the woods I came across some of the most prettiest flowers I had ever seen before.

They were blue and draped over. They also were in the shape of a bell. They were so cool and beautiful. So I decide I was going to call them blue bells. I picked a really big hand full of them and put them inside one of my pouches. I took my time with walking back to the cave gathering as many herbs and flowers as I could find that would fit inside my side pouch. I now there was alot of different flowers and herbs that can be used for many things. But that was one of my classes I never made it to. Snakeyes knew alot about flowers a herbs.

So I will leave that up to him when I get back to the cave.

I am hoping he can teach me a little bit more about them an what they can do for us. When I finally made it back to the cave I was so happy to see it. I climbed up the rocky side and onto the cave edge. When I had gotten back inside the cave I called out children come here I have something for you all. I could hear them all running through the cave an out towards me. They all ran up to me. Once everyone was there I sat the bag og clothes down on the floor of the cave then started handing out the new clothes to all of them. I then called out for Snakeyes. He didn't come right away. Jesse then spoke up an said my lady he was down at the stream to collect water into bags gor us. I then said oh ok. After a few moments I heard him running through the water and climbing up the rocky side. He run up to me then said yes my princess what is it? I then tell him I want you to gather all of the older children and have them all meet me at the back of the cave in few minutes that is also including you to. He nodded his head then ran off. After I was done handing out the clothes I walked to the back of the cave and started laying out the weapons that the blacksmith had given us.

After I was done laying out all of the weapons I noticed a she small beautiful dagger with a note wrapped around the handle. I picked it up un wrapped the note from the handle an read it. Wrote on the note said be safe princess until we meet again. P.s the dagger is for you. I picked the dagger back up an looked at it. It was a small dagger with beautiful blue an green stores inlay on the handle.I smiled then put it in the side of my belt of my pants.

Snakeyes:Pov

It's been all day an night time is getting closer. Tigereye still isn't back yet an I'm starting to get worried. I was pacing the floor like a crazy person. I hope she is ok. Bane is standing against the wall look out through the woods.

After some time of me pacing around he lets out a sigh then says dam man will you go do something your driving me crazy and your going to wear a hole in the floor. I kicked the dirt an said fine. Then reach down an picked up the water bags then went down steam to collect some water for when she does get back. After a few hours went by. I heard someone call my name. I listened carefully then heard it again it was Tigereye. She was back thank the goddess. I ran back to the cave as fast as I could. We I got inside the cave she had a big bags of clothes and was handing them out. I ran up to her an then said yes my princess what is it? She then said I want you to gather all of the older children and have them all meet me at the back of the cave in few minutes that is also including you to. I then nodded my head an took off to get the others. I was so happy she made it home safely. One I found Bane an the other older children we all walk to the back of the cave. Where I saw her standing. An at her feet was a range of different kinds of weapons. We walked up to her. Then said we are all here my princess. She looked over at me back she took a big pouch off her side then handed to me. She then said here this is more of your thing you would know more about them then me. I then opened the bag to find it was completely full of different flowers an herbs. I said yes my princess I will sort through them. She then said me an the others to all pick out one weapon that we could use to protect ourselves with an to be able to use for hunting as while.

She then said to us when you all are done I what you to get the other children and meet me by the fire pit. I have something to tell you all. As she was walking away Bane walked up to her and asked her where did you get all of those weapons from? She looked at him and said I will tell you everything once everyone is together. He said to her why won’t tell me now. Why is it so important that you have to wait for the others.She then said to him you will wait for the other children I will tell everyone everything at the same time. So with that being said have some patients my dear friend. She sounded alittle angry at him.He put his hands up in surrender then said ok ok princess I will wait. He guffed then walked over towards to the fire pit.
