ZYLIAH’S POV
“How did it go?” Delia asked as soon as I entered the living room, freshly showered and in more comfortable clothes.
The boys, worn out from all the games and all the food they’d been stuffed with, had passed out the second they hit the shower.
It had been more stressful bathing and dressing them up for bed. It was evening, I was sure they’d only be waking up the next morning.
“Hectic and filled with drama.” A big yawn tore my mouth open. “Is there food at home?”
“I’ve ordered Thai, five portions. Two for the boys, just in case they decide to wake up later and ask for food,” she said.
“Oh, that’s nice. Thank you.”
She pulled a face. “I’m not doing it for gratitude. I’m just going to miss you guys so much, you know.”
