In preparation for her night of drinking with Henry, she knew she had to show up with something in her stomach, but a full meal could also end up disastrously. She pushed aside her father's concerns when he came to check on her and had to sit through a lecture of him telling her that he would prefer it if she waited for a few more weeks before she started going out on the town.
