April groggily came to consciousness gradually. It took an extraordinary amount of effort to get her eyes open, but once he did, she realised she was still surrounded by darkness. She tried to move her limbs, but found out that she had been strapped to a chair. Her arms were bound behind her and her legs were immovable. This was great. Just great. Before she could think of kicking up a fuss, however, her ears slowly began to pick up sound. It took a moment for them to do so, but once they did, she heard the low sound of arguing voices.
