"What's wrong with her?" Zander asked, moving closer. He took April's hand in his when he reached her and noticed that it was shaking.
"I don't know. Neither do they," April said hoarsely. "They just got to the hospital, but apparently she was bleeding. Mum's scared she might lose the baby."
"f**k," swore Zander. "No wonder everyone is busy."
April looked morose as she internally kicked herself for not making things right with her sister. When she looked back up she had a determined look on her face, even with the tears in her eyes.
"I have to go," she whispered. She had no choice in the matter.
Zander nodded with understanding. "I'll come with you," he said as his thumb comfortingly brushed the back of her hand.
"I will too," Henry said. "Someone has to keep an eye on you two."
