April pulled away from Zander and both of their eyes opened. She stared up at him curiously. She nervously licked her lips and noticed that his eyes dilated further and tracked the movement with complete focus on her lips. This time she was fully prepared when he dipped his head back down and their lips met again. She sighed with a sense of relief the moment she felt his lips on hers. They moved together fluidly and when she opened her mouth to invite him in, his tongue tentatively brushed against hers. It was as if he was testing her because his movements became far more like the self-assured man she knew after she leaned deeper into the kiss. They were both completely lost in the moment until they needed to catch their breath.
