Zoey's POV
Russell glanced at the time, held my hand, and whispered, "It's about time. Let's go."
I nodded gently and followed him out.
Troy was already waiting outside. He helped Russell into the back seat of the car, and I got in from the other side.
After getting in, Troy started the car, raised the partition, and headed towards the old mansion.
This was the first time in this life that I had come here. Seeing me get out of the car, Marlene quickly walked up, warmly took my arm, and said with a smile, "Zoey, welcome!"
I respectfully called out, "Thank you, mom."
She responded cheerfully, "Let's go inside."
I looked back at Russell, who had already been wheeled out by Troy, and couldn't help but say, "But Russell..."
Marlene said, "Don't worry about him. Troy's with him!"
