Atlas POV Atlas had been in awe of Miranda’s skills on the battlefield. The woman was fearless. He knew she was capable, she was an agent of the shifter council after all, though that hadn’t stopped his worry for her. He could see the annoyance on her face when his bear had barreled through the enemy snakes and wolves to fight by her side, but he couldn’t help it. He might not have known her for long, but he couldn’t imagine a life without her in it. It was when one of the snakes had successfully sunk its fangs into his hind leg, that Miranda had shown him she felt the same.
