Bound by Fate Episode 4

Episode 4: The Chase

Rain lashed against the windshield as Adrian sped through the deserted streets. The black SUV stayed close behind, its headlights cutting through the darkness.

"They're getting closer!" Maya cried, gripping the seat.

"Stay down!" Adrian ordered.

A loud bang echoed through the night as the SUV rammed the back of Adrian's car. The vehicle swerved, but Adrian fought to keep control.

He turned sharply into a narrow alley, forcing the SUV to overshoot the corner.

For a brief moment, it seemed they had escaped.

Then another vehicle appeared ahead, blocking the road.

"We're trapped," Maya whispered.

Three masked men stepped out.

One of them pointed at Maya.

"Take the girl. Leave the man."

Adrian stepped in front of Maya.

"No one touches her."

The leader smiled coldly.

"So you're willing to die for her?"

Without warning, Adrian charged forward. A fierce fight broke out in the pouring rain. He managed to knock two men to the ground, but the third pulled out a knife.

"Maya, run!" Adrian shouted.

She hesitated, tears filling her eyes.

Suddenly, police sirens echoed in the distance.

The masked men looked at each other.

"We're out of time. We'll finish this later."

They jumped into their vehicles and disappeared into the night.

Breathing heavily, Adrian turned to Maya.

"We're not safe anymore."

"Who are they?" she asked.

He looked into her eyes.

"The same people who murdered your father... and now they want you."

Far away, inside a dark room, a mysterious woman watched everything through security cameras.

She smiled.

"The game has finally begun."
