The Scarred Shewolf

Chapter Twelve

I am unsure how long I was passed out, but I woke with a startle sitting up in the bed breathing heavy. The memory of me passing out flooded my mind as I looked around trying to figure out what time and day it is. As if knowing I was awake Blaine walked in rushing to my side.

"Baby are you okay" He asked "I felt when you woke up frightened so I came to make sure nothing is wrong"

"You felt me wake up?" I questioned

"Mate bond honey" He smiled "I can feel what you feel. Thats how I knew something was wrong when you passed out"

"Oh" was all I managed to get out.

"Dr Calvin came to see you. Your blood pressure was dangerously high. He prescribed you some blood pressure meds to take every night. He said it is rare for a wolf to have common human health issues, however your body is carrying three pups which is also abnormal for a wolf so he figures that is why. He said you are not to do anything that will stress you out and if your pressure doesnt get under control then you will have to be placed on bed rest." He kissed my cheek.

"How long was I out this time?"

"Only about an hour. He said that had I not prevented your fall that it could have hurt your pups. He has advised you do not do anything without someone there incase it happens again."

I nodded and got up to get dresses as I was still naked from my shower. He watched me as I carefully pulled out a navy blue dress with a slit to my knee on the right side. I dressed slowly for him, knowing I was driving him crazy as his eyes darkened in need. I pulled my hair back before I grinned walking over to him as I kissed him passionatly parting my lips giving him access to my mouth. Our tongues danced together as I moaned in pleasure. Blaine pulled away smilling.

"As much as I would love to ripe this beautiful dress off of you and take you right now, we have guest waiting for us." He smilled pecking me before taking my hand to lead me downstairs.

I looked over Blaines muscular body and realized that without even trying I matched him to a T. He was also wearing a Navy colored suit that left nothing to your imagination as far as it concerned his muscles and build. He looked beyond sexy and Athena purr in delight at the sight of our mate. I kissed his cheek and allowed him to lead me to the gathering where everyone waited for us. As we approached everyone they quickly quieted down for us to speak.

"I am sorry for the delay of tonights events" Blaine spoke his voice full of confidence as he spoke to his pack members. "My mate, the future Luna of my pack, is with child and became ill earlier. However now that she is able to stand by my side I will explain to you why I have called a meeting with each household tonight. To my left is Alpha Wayne from a small California pack, who also happens to be a member who was born from our packs mate. Alpha Wayne as well as his mate luna Jolene have asked to move their pack to become neighboring packs with us. Jolene is Fayes, my mates, mother."

The pack began to stir trying to understand what this has to do with them if they were simply going to be our neighbors. I squeezed Blaines hand for encouragment to continue on with what he has chosen to do for his pack and Waynes. He glanced at me as I could see him visually relax and he smilled at me before raising his hands to hush the loud crowd infront of us.

"Our pack has been the largest pack in the states for many years. This comes with its pros, but also a fair share of cons. We are not able to go for pack runs without getting unwanted human attention. We are not able to have weekly pack meeting or feast due to such large numbers and no where that can hold so many people at once. Though I can tell you each of your names and the names of your families we are still far from being a connected pack like those of the smaller packs around the states. I love my pack and each and everyone one of you, and it with that in mind that I have offered Alpha Wayne to take half of my terriotory in with his pack to split ours into two packs. This will make our numbers more managable so that we can have more intimate times together like a pack should be able to do." Blaine now smilled at the members of his pack before him.

"I know that I am unknown to many of you and for that I am sorry." I stepped up to speak which I could feel surprized Blaine. "I have avoided speaking because I have felt I do not have a say in what is to come. However I will be some of ya'lls Luna so I want to take a moment and express how much lossing some of you will be like loosing family to my mate. He is doing this though because each and every one of you deserve to be in a pack where you feel seen and understood. In a pack so large it is all to easy to feel unwanted, unneeded, or just alone. It is essential to have moments that my mate spoke of such as the pack runs, as it solidifies that pack bond even more. I hope each of you know this wasnt an easy decision for him to make and it is not because any of you matter less than others."

I smilled before stepping back to my mates side. He pulled me closer to his side and I could feel the pride rolling off him. I snuck a glace up at him and saw he was staring back at me smilling, his eyes full of love. He kissed my cheek before going back to address the crowd.

"As many know I enjoy where I am located here in this small community of Sandy cross. I am secluded and there are few humans around here, some of which are mated to some of our pack. With that said I have chosen to take the southern and a few of the north easter counties of our territory. Alpha Wayne will take other northwestern counties. I have decided to drop the counties that have become over run with humans and that lacks the seclusion we need. We will be equal in size by the time things are sorted out, our numbers may very by a few hundred but baised off territory size we will be equal, and both packs will stand together as the largest two packs in the states. I assume there will be some who wish to use this opportunity to move to other states to new packs. The counsil has provided us with several Alphas who are willing to take in new pack members. I ask that you enjoy tonight, eat drink dance and mingle; then return home to your families and discuss where you would like to live."

Taking a breath Blaine looked around his pack members, with sadness in his eyes. No one moved or said a word as they all watched him watching them. You could hear a pen drop across the room at how quiet everything was. I could feel that Blaine was struggling to continue without becoming emotional in front of them so I once again stepped up to speak so that he could calm himself.

"Anette will be stationed at the exit of the event, please meet with her before returning to your family and sign your name to a date and time listed before her. We plan to meet with each and every family from the pack before we complete the transition. We want everyone to feel heard, as well as wanting to make sure everyone is happy. We asked that your entire household attend the meetings. Alpha Wayne and Alpha Blaine, Luna Jolene and myself, will be present during the meetings. The Alphas willing to take in those who wish to leave will be on a confrence call as will so they can know numbers that will be joining them so that they are prepared for your arrival. With heavy hearts we hope each and every one of you can understand why Alpha Blaine feels this is best for everyone. Please help yourself to the buffet of abundance of food that the our lovly women here in the pack house has made for tonight, and tomorrow we shall begin preparing for our futures. Thank you all for coming out tonight." I addressed them with the confidence I had felt coming from blaine.

Everyone dispersed and began to mingle, some went to go ahead and schedule their meetings, while others went to eat. I turned to Blaine who was just staring at me with a huge grin on his face.

"What?" I asked "I am sorry for taking over I felt your emotions getting to you so I thought it would help"

"You are amazing" He smiled grabbing my waist and pulling me to him. "Do not ever apologize for stepping up in your place as Luna. You are my equal and you are to rule by my side. Tonight you showed me just how wonderful of a luna you will be. I am so proud of you, and grateful. A crying Alpha wouldve been seen as weak." He chuckled.

I beemed up at him now with a goofy grin. His approval of my words brought me much joy. I stood on my tippy toes and wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him the rest of the way to me. He complied with easy and bent so that his lips would meet mine. We didnt care who was watching as we shared a deep passionate kiss together. Our lips and tongues dancing together in pure bliss and happiness. Then a thought hit me, breaking free I turned once more to address the pack members.

"I have one more announcement." I said and everyone stopped to look at me. I felt Blaines confusion. "As you can all tell I am pregnant, and though I may not be the Luna to everyone once this is said and done, I do feel that I may not make it through all of the details that must be ironed out before we can separate the packs. My mother Luna Jolene, has plans to do a gender reveal of sorts, that was planned to be done after our smaller pack was established, since this birth will bring an heir to the throne. I however think that since I could give birth at any moment that I would like the pack in its entirety to be able to experience the gender reveal as a whole. One last happy moment before things change."

"But how?" Jolene asked before anyone else could.

"I want each county to rent a large location that can accomidate the pack members in that area. In that location I would like there to be a large screen and food and such available. Then there will be the location here that will hold the actual reveal, that I want live streamed to the others where they can watch on the screen. They can enjoy the moment just like those who will be here and have refreshments too. I also want screens placed here one for each location where they can all communicate through live stream back to us as if they were all here." I stated

"I think that is a brilliant idea" Blaine stepped up to my side now. "What do you say? Would you all like one last Pack event in the best way we can manage?"

Cheers errupted all around us as everyone seemed to grow excited to learn what their Alpha, as of now, will be having. I laid my head on Blaines shoulder as a wavy of exhaustion crashed over me. I heard him and Jolene making a plan of when and where things would happen. Before I knew it Blaine was carrying me bridal style up the stares and back to our room. Laying me on the bed, he kissed me lightly and told me to sleep. I did as told and the darkness took me into a deep much needed sleep.
