Chapter Seventeen

*Blaine's POV*

As I sit in fayes room holding her hand trying to keep Rhett calm, I began to hear a lot of commotion out in the hall. I immediately jumped to my feet to make sure my kids were okay and there wasnt another breech in our pack. When I swung the door open I about ran into a nurse who was coming into our room.

"What is wrong?" I demanded

"Alpha they found your son, he is fine and healthy. He is being fed right now!" She said so happily before running back out.

"Kane" I yelled to one of my Guards I saw walking through the hall. He stopped coming to me. "Everything okay ma? Shouldnt you be out in the fight?"

"Luna Jolene ordered I bring your son and Mrs. Ruth here while she went back for Alpha Martin. She felt that he had been hurt." He responded proudly.

"Good Job Kane!" I clapped his back "Is Mrs. Ruth okay?"

"She locked herself in the freezer and over heard much of what was going on. Without her knowledge and bravery sir we wouldnt have know who or how many we were up against. She is very clever for sure, however the cold got to her so they are warming her up and hoping it doesnt effect her heart."

He was right, this isnt the first time Ruth has saved the day with her quick thinking. She helped raised him after his mom left them when she found her fated mate. I shook the thought away knowing no wasnt the time to think about my past. Ruth did something similar when Rogues attacked when his father had been away at an alpha meeting when he was ten years old. She thought quickly and hid her and him from the rogues. They distroyed the house, attacked several pack members in the home even killed a few, but never did they search the floorboards where Ruth had thought to hid a small safe room just big enough for them to lay in and close the floors ontop of them. Little Blaine had been terrified but Ruth was there with him the entire time.

Shaking my head again trying to shake the past, I smiled up at Kane. I am very proud of the young Guard who had helped bring the elderly lady and my son back to safety. Kane excused himself to go make sure he wasnt needed elsewhere and I returned to Fayes side. Holding her hand I stared at her sleeping figure. I have a feeling she will raise hell that we yet again sedated her from something bad, but I feared her reaction had she been awake during this crisis. Mind linking Dr Calvin, I asked him to come wake her.

*Faye's POV*

Groggily I opened my eyes as the bright lights around me burned my eyes. I grunted and heard some movements before the lights dimmed some. Ah that was better, as I was able to open my eyes and look around. This time I was indeed in the hospital as the beeping noice next to me began to get on my nerves. I felt someone squeeze my hand causing me to turn my head and lock eyes with my handsome mate. He looked exhausted, bags under his chocolate eyes and worry lines around his lips. I sighed feeling the fear roll off him, what had he done this time that he feared of my reaction.

"What happened" I asked in a dry raspy voice, in return he held up a straw where I gladly drank the cold water down. "Well?" I asked again this time my voice was stronger.

He sighed. " A lot honestly. The Dr and I mutually agreed for you to be in a medical coma again so your body could heal and also so you didnt wake to the chaos that had unfolded from your birth. We worried about your mental healthy had you woke to it going on as well as you possibly hurting yourself worse. Your mother however has scolded the dr and I and told me I will be lucky if you dont snap my neck."

I closed my eyes and took a long deep breath to calm myself. I am unsure of what chaos he is refering to, but he has to stop putting my ass to sleep so that I dont have to deal with lifes problems. I am not some fragile broken wolf even if I am the scarred shewolf I am stronger than he thinks. I know he was only trying to protect me, but my mother wasnt wrong I am fuming.

"What chaos came from me giving birth?" I demanded trying to calm myseld to no avail, Athenas anger wasnt helping as she too had been put under with me so she also has no clue what happened.

"Please stay calm when I tell you this. Your body may be healed but I still dont want you.....or myself hurt" He said holding up both hands in surrender. " I only decided to have you in a coma to protect you because well Leon was released from the cells and attempted to kill you when I was with the kids. Then he apparently met his second chance mate who happened to be a nurse who took the oldest born son. we had five people total from my pack who turned on us. One of which was chris your guard. I am so sorry Faye I shouldnt have ever left your side. They are all dead now including Leon who I had only kept alive because I wanted you to be able to get your revenge on him and because of that you nearly died. They found our son, he was unharmed and healthy still. Everything turned out okay thankfully."

"THEY TOOK MY SON?!" I yelled trying to rip the cords off of me to get out of my bed!

"FAYE!" He yelled at me "He is okay. If you can calm down I will have a nurse go get them. Well the boys anyway. Our daughter is in NICU she is okay but needs a few more days to strengthen her lungs and help her Jaundice."

"Calm down? You want me to calm down when my mate had me drugged after I was attempted to be killed and one of my sons was kidnapped. Then I am going to assume my parents and god only knows who else went and risked their lives to save my son who was taken and to murder the son of a b***h who caused all of this?"

Athena was so close to taking over but I was fighting so hard to push her back, I knew she wouldnt stop until we seen our babies. I sighed and took a breath.

"Blaine I cant imagine what you went through, I am sorry I am pissed and freaking out. What did leon do to me to try and kill me?" I asked trying to see things from his point of view

"He.....HE cut your C-section wound and because you and athena were drugged to heal from the pain and suck you didnt heal quick enough. You bled out, lost a lot of blood and your heart stopped. They worked on you until they got you back and that is when I decided to have you put in a coma. I felt it would allow your body to heal and replinish the blood loss, and I knew had you woke up with the baby gone you wouldve flipped out to go help find him. It couldve hurt you worse or killed you, I couldnt bare to see you laying there lifeless agian bit this time not come back."

His eyes glissened with tears as they rolled down his cheeks as he relived the moment. My heart ached at the vulnerable heart broken look on his face. Athenas heart ached by his look too and quickly decided to forgive him because we wouldve done the same in his shoes. I reached out and took his hand and squeezed it tightly.

"Thanks to you I am here, breathing, alive, and healed. Our son is also back here alive and healthy thanks to you and everyone else. Please though dont put me under coma every damn time something bad happens, I am stronger than you think." I smiled at him and he sighed relieved that I wasnt going to continue freaking out on him.

I pulled him to me for a quick passionate kiss before I let him go. " Take me to see all my babies" I said smiling up at him.

He helped undo all the cords and shut the stupid heart monitor off, before I sat in a wheelchair. I am healed but after being under and giving birth my body is still tired and weak so I agreed for him to push me. We went through the halls and everyone smiled at us saying their congrats as we passed.

"The boys are in here, we dont have to put PPE on here but we will when we see our daughter." Blaine smiled excitedly

Going through the door he pushed me past several cribs with other babies in them until we reached three that said 'Baby Jordan' on them. Ugh I hated still having James last name. Peering into their beds I inhaled sharply, before me laid the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. My heart swelled as I looked at them and took in their features. Blaine handed me one at a time to hold and love on before we would move to the next. They each opened their eyes as I gently spoke to them but none of them cried.

After sitting with them for a good long while we headed to see our daughter in NICU. Blaine helped me dress up in a gown and such before we entered into the room. Once by her Incubator my heart swelled again at how beautiful she was as well. My heart ached seeing her tiny little body where I cant hold her. I sung to her softly from the outside and she moved a little at the sound of my voice. A tear slipped down my cheek but a nurse assured me that if her states looked good tomorrow then they will try her off oxygen. If she does well then tomorrow night we should all be able to go home.

The doctors are astonished at how quickly our daughter is progressing. They say most babies who come out small and having trouble breathing are in NICU for several weeks if not months, however its only been a day for her and she is nearly perfect health already. We all assume it is the power in her blood and whatever destiny awaits for her.

Returning to my room Blaine helped me into my bed before turning to look at me. He grinned ear to ear and goddess if that didnt make him sexier.

"What" I asked smiling back at him

"It is time to discuss names. Here are the papers youre to fill out for their birth certificates. I only have one request please" He said growing serious.

"Anything babe what is it?"

Blaine proceeded to fiddle with his fingers before sighing and reaching into his pocket. "I wanted to wait to do this, to give you time to settle in. To grow in love with not just me but the pack and the land. However after nearly loosing you I dont want to wait another minute. Faye I know our Fate our Destiny looks so different than so many others. We dont know what to expect, or who to trust aside from each other. Faye I have grown to love you in such a short time that it astonishes me. Rhett and I want nothing more than to complete the mating tradition by having a mating ceremony a wedding some say. I want you to have my last name along with my heart that is already yours. I want our Pups to also carry my last name. Faye Lillianna Jordan will you marry me, be my wife, my mate, my today my tomorrow my future, my forever, my luna?" He opened up a box he pulled from his pocket and exposed a beautiful heart shaped diamond ring.

With tears rushing down my cheeks I looked into Blaze's swirling eyes, Rhett was here too. Bringing forth an also crying Athena we both answered "Yes of course yes" Before crashing our lips to theirs. Pulling away Blaine placed the ring on my left ring finger, a perfect fit, then his lips crashed onto mine again.
