The Scarred Shewolf

Chapter Four

I sat quietly looking out into the vast ocean. The sun was beginning to set and the breeze was refreshing. Closing my eyes I tried to process everything that I had been told today. My mother being alive, My father being an Alpha, My child being very powerful, Being pregnant to begin with, being on the run, making allies with many packs along the way and the counsel too. Telling my story which I had never spoken about out loud actually helped me mentally somehow. I have been so ashamed of the abortion at the young age of 13 that it has been eating me alive. What would my child have been like? Boy or Girl?

So many questions always ran through my head about that awful time in my life. I feel as though a weight has been lifted off of me when everyone said nothing that had happened was my fault. It doesn't change the past or bring my baby back, but at least I know my soul isn't damned because of it. Leon would never see this baby, I have many strong powerful werewolves behind me to protect my child, to protect me, something I have never experienced before. I smiled to myself as I felt Athena relax calming down as well. Things were changing and I prayed they were changing for the better. I can and will recover from my past, I will not allow my Scars mentally and physically define me any longer. I may be a Scarred Shewolf, but I am no longer a prisoner of anyone, and I never again will I be.

I must have fallen asleep thinking about the events that had taken place. I am unsure of how long I slept, all I know is I slept better than I have in a very long time. Opening my eyes I glanced around confused as to how I ended up in a

bed inside the yacht. I assume after I fell asleep Gaige moved me here, that was very thoughtful of him. Looking around the room I laid in, I am in awe of how rustic and beautiful the area is. The room was decorated with all sorts of items made out of wood, solid oak wood. The bed frame, the dressers, the tables, even the chandelier were all of beautiful oak. The flooring and walls

were also wood. It was beautiful even if it was made of a lot of wood.

The wood calmed my wolf as if I were in the forest. I assume that is why Gaige had it

designed this way. Stretching, I prepared to get up and join Gaige where I assumed I would locate him still steering us to meet Blaines men. I followed Gaiges scent up a staircase that had be located in the bedroom of the yacht, As I exited to the top deck the sun shown brightly and made me realize it was later than I thought it was. I Looked around until I spotted Gaige drinking a beer while making sure we staid on course. He spotted me and smiled waving me to join him.

"How long have I slept?" I questioned him as I approached him.

"Well it is nearly 1pm if that helps you any. We are taking a little longer than expected but I reached out to Blaine letting him know we will arrive soon. We are about 20 minutes out as of now."

"Wow, I slept a long time. I am so sorry." I said, embarrassed. My heart raced at how close to meeting my future alpha and my family I am.

"You've been through a lot. I am glad you were able to get some much needed rest. You have some breakfast I cooked for you over there. Go eat up as you will need the energy."

With a smile I nodded my thanks and went to where he had pointed. On my tray there was, eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, and fresh strawberries. The food was even still warm, and boy was it delicious. Eating every bite, I cleaned up my mess and moved to change into some clothes Gaige had given me to wear. He said his daughter was about my size and that is why he had some things onboard and insisted I wear something of hers. I showered before dressing trying to melt away my nerves. I put on the blue jean pants and low cut burgundy top he had laid out for me. The sleeves had the shoulder missing to show off more skin and a little lace around my cleavage, though you could clearly still see enough to draw your eyes to them. He also laid out black ankle boots for me to wear as

well. After dressing, I brushed through my hair before doing a fishtail braid to the side. With a sigh, I went back up to join Gaige as I felt the boat slow.

"You look nice" Gaige said. "We are here. I am about to dock us. Blaines men are right over there by the black SUVS. You will be taken away quickly to get you back to safety as quickly as possible. It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope you're able to find peace and happiness. You're such a lovely woman and I hope to meet your child one day as well."

"Thank you for everything. Tell William you both will have to meet my child as soon as things calm down. My child will be lucky to have you in their life. I appreciate everything y'all have done for me and the safety of my pup." I

said hugging Gaige, as tears fell down my eyes.

Within minutes, we were docked and two intimidating men approached me. Neither said their names, they just told me I needed to hurry and get in the vehicle. I did as I was told, not wanting to chance being found by Leon. On the way to the SUV

we passed through several crowds which I was thankful for because I knew it would help mask my scent to anyone trying to find me. I was quickly put into the SUV as the two men got in the front and started heading to the highway. Another Black SUV followed behind us with one in front as well. I felt oddly at ease considering no one has hardly said a word to me.

"Sorry I have not introduced myself yet" An older gentleman in the passenger seat turned and said to me. "Honestly we were told to move quickly and quietly. Not to mention seeing you stole my breath away. I never expected you to look so much like your mother." His words made me freeze?

"You know my mother?" I asked quietly

"Yes. She is my sister after all." He grinned at me

"I have an uncle?" I asked my eyes growing wide.

"And a Father" The other man said Locking eyes with the driver in the rearview mirror, I instantly saw it. He had the

same shape and colored eyes as I do. My breath caught in my chest and my eyes teared up.

"Lonnie" I breathed out. He grinned and nodded in acknowledgement. I had found my father whom I never knew existed and instantly I saw and felt the love coming from him towards me. The love of a father that I had never known. My heart swelled up in my chest as I began to cry. I finally felt wanted even if it's only been five minutes into knowing the man.

"Hello Faye" Lonnie said, tears in his eyes. "I am so glad to finally meet you."

"Dad" I whispered barely loud enough for anyone but myself to hear. This was it, my new beginning, my family, my future.

Everything happened so fast no one had time to react. On minute I am staring into lonnies bright green eyes, sharing a moment with my father I had just met for the first time. The next his eyes glazed over as someone from his pack was mindlinking him, thankfully I always blocked my pack out as I enjoyed my privacy and quietness. My stomach sank with a god awful feeling, and before I could even look around us our car went flying off course. We flipped several times before coming to rest outside the lines of the woods that lined the road we were traveling on. Thankfully, I was buckled, so besides a major headache from hitting my head and nausea from all the flipping, I was okay. Athena growled that our pup was also safe for now but that danger was all around us. The next thing I knew my uncle, the man who had been in the passenger seat, tore out of the car immediately shifting once out.

"Harold" My father yelled after him, huh so that is my uncles name. With a sign Lonnie jumped out and followed my uncle as he also shifted.

I hung upside down with my heart racing as I heard growling and fighting from many wolves all around me. They were all fighting for me, some to protect me, others to take me. I began feeling sick as I came to the realization of what was going on. I finally unbuckled myself, bracing against the headrest of the seat in front of me to keep me from getting hurt. I moved myself around to where I was kneeling on the roof of our vehicle inside, trying to strain to see what was going on. The scene in front of my made my skin crawl and Athena beg to come forward to protect those who are risking their lives for us. Shaking and trying to fight against Athena I searched the car for anything I could use to help us. I found Lonnie's phone that, thankfully, didn't have a lock on it.

Fumbling with the phone as I shook, I scrolled through his contacts.

I finally located Alpha Blaines number and hit dial as the fighting sounds grew

closer. I knew I had to hurry.

"Lonnie whats going on" Blaine answered alarmed

"Its Faye sir. We have been ambushed. Everyone is in wolf form so I do not know who

anyone is." I responded my voice laced with fear

"s**t" Blaine growled " Can you get to safety Faye?"

"No." I am unsure where my new-found courage came from, I guess Athena but I knew running wasn't the answer.

"Sir Leon is near I can feel the pull of the mating bond. However, since he has suppressed his wolf his will be in human form. I must protect those in your pack that are trying to protect me. I am not worth all of this trouble and I am so sorry for involving your pack."

"Faye what are you talking about? You are not to put yourself in danger. My men are trained for this and more are headed to help aid you. I forbid that you do anything stupid"

"Then sir I am glad I have not pledged myself to you yet and that your alpha command doesn't faze me yet. I am truly sorry and thankful for everything." I hung up the phone and began to exit the vehicle.

Before doing so I took lonnies phone placed it on silent and stuck it under one of my breast. Thankfully, being bigger, no one would be able to see the phone on me. Crawling out I took a stand and inhaled. I can smell Leon close to me but hiding from Blaines men. I smirked with the plan that had formed in my head.

"STOP!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. The ground and trees seemed to literally shake with the force i pushed out from me. That's not possible though, so I let it go and continued to stand my ground. The wolves had frozen from their fighting now staring at me. Some growling others eyes wide with fear.

"Where are you Leon? Are you to much of a Coward to come for me yourself? You know you're no match for any of us since your wolf is nearly dead because of your neglect to him" I yelled all of this while scanning the woods around me. I could feel the anger

boiling off of him from the distance at what I said. "I can feel you Leon. Come out and play with me" I taunted him.

A large tan wolf whimpered beside me. He was massive in size and muscle. Looking into his eyes, though they were now a deep dark green, I knew instantly it was Lonnie in his wolf form. He nudged me with his snout, he cant communicate with me since I haven't pledged to Blaine yet. He made it clear in his eyes and growl that he didn't like what I was doing. I pet his ear trying to tell him it would be okay before I stepped toward the woods. He tried to grab my shirt with his teeth but missed me and I gave him a look that ask him to trust me.

"Oh I will play with you soon enough" Leon laughed from inside the cover of the trees still to scared to come out.

"Leon I surrender myself, but only if you allow Blaines wolves to return to their territory unharmed." I said. This caused for growls and whines to erupt behind me. I heard someone shifting back to human behind me and knew it was Lonnie and Harold without even looking. "Stay out of this. You will not change my mind and fighting right now will get you both killed or at least some

of your men. I am not worth this much trouble. Take your men and leave Lonnie, you are out numbers."

"I will be damned" Lonnie said "We will protect you at all cost."

"NOW!" I shouted, turning to face them all. I knew this would allow Leon to come behind me and grab me but in the moment i didn't care. "Go back now Lonnie. Get your things from your vehicles and go. I will try to CALL you at some point." I said vaguely trying to hint that I had a plan and to follow my lead. Lonnies eyes flashed with anger before slowly his expression turned to

that of knowing and he stepped away.

Harold stared at him stunned that he stepped down. Arms wrapped around me and a knife was pressed against my jugular. Growls erupted again from the men trying to protect me.

"I would listen to her if I were you. I will allow you to live as I do not wish to wage war with Blaines pack. I am simply claiming what is mine and I will be on my way" Leon hissed kissing my cheek. "Now run along"

I looked at the men with begging eyes. Praying they would stand down and head back to Blaine, also praying that the phone I hid on me wouldn't be found by Leon. After a tense few minutes of the men staring at us they signed and turned to leave shifting before running across the road into the woods there. I assumed that was the way to Blaines pack. I prayed they would soon realize why

I did what I did and come to my rescue, until then I had to keep Leon calm and happy.

"Hello babe miss me?" He asked jerking me toward the woods that he came out of. After about a mile of traveling we approached a white van that Leon shoved me into. "Your father will be pleased I found you"

"He isnt my father, and think about it Leon if you take me to him he will beat me again for leaving. He could cause me to loose our child. Is that what you want?" I ask

"Of course not! He wont harm you as long as youre pregnant however he and I both will take turns once my pup is out of you. Teach you to ever try to leave me again." He growled "What do you mean james isnt your father?"

"Lonnie the wolf you saw earlier, that is my biological father. He was an alpha too" I grinned

"So youre telling me you are of alpha blood not beta?"

"Yes well no. My mother was beta blood my father was alpha. Alpha over rules the other so therefore yes I am of alpha blood"

"Oh this is great news! This means our pup is of full alpha blood. He will be so strong and powerful. I will raise him to rule and teach him where women are meant to be within the pack."

"You do not know if the pup is a boy yet"

"Oh please an alpha such as myself will only create boys. Dont you worry to much though, after he is born and you have me two more alpha boys you will not live to see them grow up to take over the cousil and run the werewolves the way things should be ran!"

My heart sank at his words. Goddess I pray that I get out of this. I am handcuffed to the seat in front of me as Leon pulls the van over. Winking at me he gets out to go inside to pay for gas and grab some snacks. I could feel the other wolves following close by but in here no one could see me. I took the moment alone to remove Lonnies phone and place it under Leons seat in the van. This

will ensure that if he decided to try and have his way with me the phone wouldnt be found. I had just straighted back up as Leon approached the van. I signed in relief that he didnt question me, instead he handed me a sprite and some chips.
