Warren walked out of Sergeant Moreno’s office feeling good about it. He’d worried that she would be upset or he really didn’t know what, but he’d been nervous about going in to talk to her. She’d been great and even seemed happy for him. He clocked out and headed home, knowing he would be back on patrol the next morning. He’d really wanted to finish this case, to find the person who had killed Tanalynn Snyder before he went back to patrol.
