"If I'm correct, you said Mr. Calloway caused your miscarriage?"
"Yes sir," Cassidy nods. "He usually forced himself on me violently and that led to me losing my baby."
The judge sits upright and begins to write something down. Then he faces me and says, "You might be her husband, but when she says no, she means no. And you shouldn't force her."
I watch them in embarrassment. How do I refute this allegation when it's perfectly painted as the truth? It's easy to deny other women, but denying my ex-wife is a different case altogether.
