Dante is just spitting lies upon lies. Why can't he come clean and tell me the truth? I need some time away from him to recover from the sting of his betrayal. Is he teaming up with Richmond? Only the thought of it fills me with dread.
He said he loved me. Or was I only an agreement to him? Who knows the deal he must be having with Richmond? My thoughts are running wild again. I take in a deep breath, let it out and open my eyes.
Beyond the railing and across the beach is a large expanse of water. Being submerged in water frightens me, but watching it from a distance is the most calming thing ever.
