Cassidy's POV
When I tell Richmond I'm leaving, I expect him to become judgemental, but he isn't.
"Thank you for being here," he says standing up. "Sorry if we kept you late. I'll walk you to your car."
For a moment I stare at him quietly.
"Oh, don't worry about that. Just stay here with Claire. You're the only one she's got right here. Have you called her parents?"
His eyebrows raise in realization. "I almost forgot. I'll call them right now. Have a safe trip home, dear."
My eyebrows raise. His endearing nature is highly surprising. Richmond was never like this. Old Richmond would have given me a thousand and one reasons why I should stay and watch over my friend. He would have asked why I was being insensitive. But now, he even offers to walk me to my car?
