*Summer*
We are having an outing simply as a means to put the past completely behind us. Although I refuse to read more into his request than that, I do wish I had a fancier dress, but I possess only two, one a dark blue, the other black. So this evening it will be the dark blue one because at least the corners of the collar isn’t too badly ø frayed. I thought I had cast aside my vanity in want of a simpler life. What a disappointment to discover it had only been in hiding and that the attention of a young man could bring it forth so easily.
I do hope Dion had spoken true about having no expectations regarding tonight. He has to know
the roads we have each traveled had taken us in different directions, and those will never converge.
