The alarm went off at 7 a.m. as usual, but Lisa was up already taking a shower. She wanted to start her day off right without any drama. As she got out the shower, lotion up and got dress. She begin watching the news as she looked over her papers and sipped on some orange juices till she was ready to leave for the office. Her first appointment was at 10:30 and she was meeting a new client. She finished up and started heading toward the door. The drive to work was relaxing and she was enjoying her favorite cd as she drove. “There’s nothing like some Mary J in the morning, sing it Mary, sing it gurl!” screaming at the radio as she pulled into the parking lot, Lisa smiled. Just thinking this is her business no one else, she doesn’t owe anyone a dime and business is going well. “Who said you can’t own your own business and be happy with life? I’m a successful real estate agent. Me, Lisa Shania Grant” Just saying those words made her smile grow from ear to ear. Getting out of the car, she was still singing Mary J Blige. Her day was going great. Walking into the building gave her a higher boost of confidence then before, she felt like she could take anything the world threw at her. In her office she got ready her first appointment of the day. Lena walked in behind her.
“Good morning Lisa, are you ready for this day to begin?”
“Yes, plus my first appointment should be here in the next hour or so. If not sooner and my day is going lovely” saying cheerfully
“I wish I could say the same, but I’ll be fine”
“Lena do you wanna talk about it sweetie”
“Maybe later on, I don’t want to start my day off talking about my problems”
“Ok sweetie if you need me I’m here for you”
“Thanks Lisa” saying as she walked toward the front to her desk. Then Lisa starts back getting ready for her appointment
“Welcome to Grants Real Estate” Lena said with a smile
“Hello I’m here to meet Mrs. Lisa Grant” said a males voice
“Have a seat and she’ll be right with you sir.”
“Ok, thanks” the man cracked a smile
“Ms. Grant your ten thirty is here” saying over the intercom
“Thanks, I’ll be right there”
“Excuse me sir would you like anything to drink while you wait?”
“No thank you, I’m fine”
“I know” saying under her breath as she left the desk to meet Lisa in the hall. She had to warn her how sexy he was, so Lisa wouldn’t stare. This man was very handsome. He was a dark caramel skinned brother with a fade, very muscular and average height for a man with hazel eyes. But, had a swagger about him that made women stop as he walked by and you couldn’t forget that sexy raspy voice of his.
“Oh my god! that man is sexy as hell gurl, oh my god” an out of breath Lena running to catch up with Lisa
“What? what man? who are you talking about?”
“Your new client. he is fine as hell gurl! Lisa I mean fine as hell! damn!”
“OK, I hear you Lena. The man is fine. ok” rolling her eyes, as she walked away. She couldn’t believe her assistant was acting crazy about a man. Yeah he might be fine, but it was still a business. It was her business and she wanted Lena to be professional around clients.
“Did you get his name or was he to fine for you to force on the important information” snapped Lisa
“I didn’t, but I will now Ms. Grant” snapping back as she walked back to the front.
