NORA'S POV
Duke was eventually discharged from the hospital later in the evening yesterday and since Sam had told me there wasn't a need to come in to work, we just headed straight home.
It had pained me soo much to have missed the meeting with the top client everyone had been gushing over , especially as Mr Prichett was very keen about him. Although, I won't deny how grateful I am for his understanding despite me being the one to oversee the entire project.
We all await his second visit so all the papers can be signed and then we can commence work on the project.
"Mommy I am done brushing my teeth" Duke said bringing me back from my wandering thoughts.
"Okay my love, it's time for bed.." I said to him. " Let's get you settled in.
He nodded in response as I walked him to his bed
