NORA'S POV
"Hello" I said silently as I anxiously held onto the phone. My hand was literally shaking as I patiently anticipated the voice that would speak.
"Hello.... Annabel Nora?" The voice called out.
The only person that calls me by my middle name was my mother.
"Mom?" I called out silently
"Oh thank goodness!.....I'm glad you didn't change your number" she started
I remained silent as I waited to hear what was going on.
"Hello?....... Hello oo are you there?" She asked
"I'm here " I replied anxiously.
"...then why didn't you say anything? Why were you silent?" She asked again
"I'm just curious and overwhelmed as to why I am getting this call" I replied her as calmly as possible.
