NORA'S POV
" I ran into Duke's father today" I blurted out to Jade as soon I got to her apartment to pick up Duke.
" You what?!.....oh my God Nora, where? How?" She asked all at once
The look on her face gave out all shades of shocked expressions.
" Well, it turns out he's the one representing the company we are working with for the project" I replied her
"That is insane!" She blurted out and then continued. " How did you react? How did he react?"
I scoffed in response.
The moment my eyes met with that of Aiden's, I had almost passed out in absolute shock. I began to desperately pray for the ground to open up and swallow me. Infact I was fine with any form of natural disaster at that moment.
Of all the people that it could have been in the world, it just had to be Aiden! Christ
