It was not possible that she would see him again. But she did. Early morning on a Saturday. About 7am. She was walking to the market and saw him. He was standing there looking pretty shaky. She approached him and as he saw her he began walking away. "Stop walking away from me. I know you feel it too, " she said while running towards him. He suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned around, "Feel what exactly? I don't even know you and you're telling me this nonsense. This is why I don't get with people!" he screamed while facing her. She noticed his eyes for the first time and she was lost. It was as blue as the sky in daylight. She was amazed by how elegant he seemed. "The connection. I can feel it. I know you can too if you stop running away from me. My name is Charlie. Charlie Dickinson. I am 19 years old." she said with so much confidence in hopes he would care. He didn't seem impressed and just lazily said "The name's Elijah. Elijah Bentwood. I am 21 years old and not interested."
"Why are you so afraid of talking to me? " she asked Elijah while walking through the park.
"I'm not afraid." he said an with an ice cold look in his eyes.
"Why did you run away then. I tried talking to you for the longest time now but every time I get the chance you dissapear into thin air."
"It's too complicated for you to understand. You wouldn't believe me even if I told you. "
"You clearly don't know me. I have done some pretty wild things on my past so I think I can handle this."
"You can't." he said as he was walking away from her.
He does this every time. I have to find out what he's hiding.
She walked slowly behind him so he wouldn't notice. There was something that she noticed though. It left her mortified.
