Chapter 41
Anne is seated on her bed and Jeremy is getting ready for the day, putting on his clothes after the bathing. The fact that she was not going for the ball was still sincerely bothering her. She needed to go badly.
"I really want to go for this charity ball, Jeremy," she tells her fiancee. Jeremy sighs and it seems like he was tired of it all.
"What do you want me to do Anne?" Jeremy asks. Anne felt like throwing her hair brush at him. He could be so very annoying.
"It is a very important event for all crime lords, and it's so unfair that me who is a daughter of a crime lord cannot go, you know it's a big deal Jeremy," she said.
"Well, I know it's a big deal, but I do not have an invite and there is no way I can get an invite. How the hell do you want me to get you in?" Jerem
