It was late in the evening when Magnifico decided to go to the pagoda to do what’s necessary. He was still wearing his combat outfit, probably thinking about how he crushed Azmak and also how to crush other kingdoms that are still standing. He was still sitting right beside his mighty sword in the palace, breathing unsteadily like a beast he was. The lions were feeding on the human meat they were served; the body of slain soldiers that was thrown over the cage as they were still gushing out blood. He stood up, took his sword, and headed straight to the pagoda.
When he was about to enter the pagoda, he noticed a stench from somewhere, it was smelling like something rotten and the stench was close. He could smell something from afar, especially when it's blood ridden let alone something that close. Magnifico opened the door, he could tell that something foreign had been there. He looked around and saw the pagoda isn’t as arranged as it was before he left for Azmak.
“Who would have the guts to come in here while I was away,” he thought.
Nobody would have the impetus to go in there while he was away and Magnifico knows this and that is why he looked confused. He looked at the long drawer right opposite the door of the entrance and saw it wasn’t locked. He took a closer look and saw that the arrangements of things inside this drawer appeared as though it was arranged by a child or by someone who was in a hurry. Magnifico believed nobody could have thought of the Manora's box or what was inside so he didn’t bother to check it but he was bothered to check what was smelling he was perceiving. He went outside, searched where the stench was coming from and he saw a dead body of a soldier hidden in a corner, close to a flower and carelessly hidden.
His face turned gloomy, his eyes turned dark, his breathing now steadier, he could sense sabotage. He turned back immediately and went back to the pagoda and moved straight to where he had hidden the box, brought down all the candle stands, and other equipment stored inside this drawer but couldn’t find the Manora's box. He went further to break the drawer used to store other equipment for the pagoda but what he saw were candles and other irrelevant materials, he dropped his sword. He became maniacally mad, he would eat anything at that moment. His whole body was arching him, he howled and gnarled his teeth together. Reaching his sword which he had dropped on the floor, he grabbed it and headed straight inside the palace. His movement was fast and slow and his veins were all visible as he started walking inside the palace. When he got to the entrance, his walking steps were in a waddle-like manner.
He walked to the royal chair and sat down, he wanted absolute quietness but the lions wouldn’t allow him. They roared as though they weren’t fed the whole day, this got him enraged. He quickly went to the cage and broke the keys with his sword. He went inside, the first lion closer to the cage door jumped up on him but he had seen that coming, he rolled on the floor and the lion missed bug before the lion could land on the floor, he had already used his sword to pierce his lion's stomach and it gave a deep cut. Few moments after that, he killed the whole lions inside the cage. Magnifico was panting and was even angrier. He moved away from the cage, went straight outside the main door of the room, saw two soldiers guarding the entrance. The soldiers saw him as he was covered in blood, they couldn’t tell what type of blood it is; if it is human blood or animal blood. He was approaching towards them with his right hand tightly clenched to his sword and his face was no joke, immediately they saw him, they both bowed down to salute him. Considering the state Magnifico was in, the soldiers thought that they were going to be killed so when they bowed down, they didn’t even look Magnifico in the face. He told them that he needs every official to be in his office as soon as possible and failing to do so will attract the death penalty. It surprised the soldiers anyway, they didn’t know why Magnifico would need to see the palace officials that late in the night but they couldn’t have known or couldn’t have asked.
They went straight to every government official's houses and told them exactly as they were both instructed. Some of the officials were confused as well, they asked the soldiers why they were being summoned when most of them have gone to see him in the early hours of that day. The soldiers had no answer, they also reminded them that there is a fine attached if you didn’t or couldn’t make it which was a death penalty. They all knew it was serious and had to start preparing immediately to avert any sort of punishment from Magnifico. The prime minister, Mr. Alen was told as well and he was surprised too. He took up his official garment, without wasting much time, he started walking to the palace. On his way, he saw Tom Azamia also going to the palace. But Tom was ahead of him, he noticed it was Tom and Tom was walking ahead of him.
“Hey, Tom!” He called on him but Tom didn’t answer. He called on him the second time and Tom noticed a voice calling his name in an uncommunicative way, the voice sounded like a voice he was familiar with but the voice sounded very quiet and distant to be easily noticed by someone far. The prime minister purposely called him with a very low voice because he didn’t want others to hear him or probably someone that may be going to the palace to hear him as well, at least that was his way of being cautious. When Tom turned around, he saw the Prime Minister in his red official garment waving at him. He was asking him to stop.
