CHAPTER TWENTY NINE
At nine a.m. the next morning, Stella walked down the corridor that led to the director’s office with terror boiling inside her. Marc had ordered her to report there as soon as she landed back at the academy. She’d spent the helicopter flight feeling if she was heading to her doom, and wishing that she could be somewhere else, anywhere else.
