Chapter 20: Young Love

Divina and Bradley's love story

Divina and Bradley are a long-term couple, they are on good terms together, both happy and contented with each other. They are in a 5-year relationship and still good. One day, Divina and Bradley are on their 5th anniversary, and they will have dinner in a VIP room in a hotel where Bradley is located. After Divina’s performance, she immediately went backstage to change outfits because it was the day that Bradley set out for a date. She didn’t want to forget since it was their anniversary. Divina did her make-up and wore her favorite red dress. She looked in her mirror and said ‘’He will love this dress.’’ She didn’t stop smiling. She is excited about their date. They are in a five-year relationship but she still feels what she felt the first day she fell in love with Bradley. After minutes of looking in the mirror, she decided to go out. But suddenly, her best friend came to her room. ‘’Divina, that was a lovely performance’’, Lavinia said. Lavinia is her best friend. They have been friends since childhood because Divina’s parents took care of Lavinia. Lavinia’s parents were working at Divina’s parents'. Divina treated her not just as a friend but as a sister. ‘’Thank you Lavinia!’’ Divina hugged Lavinia, ‘’Oh I almost forgot someone gave you these roses.’’ Lavinia said and gave the bouquet of roses to Divina. ‘’These roses are beautiful.’’ Divina said. She smelled the roses and smiled, then she smelled that there was a mini envelope inside the bouquet. She decided to get the envelope but she was thorn by the sting by the thorn of roses. ‘’What happened?’’ Lavinia asked. ‘’Nothing, it’s just a sting’’ She said. ‘’Wait here, I will ask for a band aid.’’ Lavinia said, Divina nod. Divina had the mini envelope in her hand and decided to see what was inside of it. She thinks that it came from her fan. But before she read it, she looked at her clock. She didn’t want to be late on their date with Bradley. Since it’s early, she still has time to look at it. When she opened the envelope, it had a picture. It slipped on her hand and dropped on the floor. She picked up all the pictures. As she looks at it, her heart beats fast. She had lots of questions because of the pictures. All of the pictures are pictures of her and Bradley together from their first meeting up until now. Aside from their picture, it has a stain of blood. What is this? Her mind was full of questions now. She looked at the envelope and saw a letter. She read it and the letter said…

Dear Divina,

I would like to give you these roses as a sign of death. Your performance was fantastic. I am impressed. I have known you for a very long time and I also know Bradley. But if I were you, just do what I would ask you. You still have time to think about it, break up with Bradley in exchange for everything. I know you have both been together for many years? I know you and Bradley. I know everything about you. Since I know about you and Bradley, in just one click everything around you will be gone. Your family, your friends and your boyfriend. You still have time, Divina, time is clicking. I know he is waiting in room 205 of the Sole Hotel.

Divina’s legs became weak, she was shaken. She didn’t know what to do. She is scared and has lots of questions on her mind. What will I do? Why is this happening now? What is their intention for us? Why? This is all Divina’s mind right now. She cried because of that. She is scared that this will happen. She looked in her mirror and saw her reflection. She wiped her tears and thought about what action she would do. She decided to get all her things and went to the hotel. ‘’Bradley is waiting for me.’’ She said. Afterwards, Livinia came with the band aid in her hand. She didn't see Divina leaving, but she saw the pictures on the floor. She looked at it and smiled. While she was on her way to the hotel, Bradley was waiting. While waiting, he arranged the vase, the plates and everything on the table. He wanted this date to be perfect. They had been there for many years, but he still wanted Divina to be surprised. Every anniversary, he did something for her. He wanted her to be the happiest woman in the world. He always thinks that he is lucky to have her. After hours of waiting, Divina came. ‘’I’m sorry love, I need to sing one more song before I leave.’’ She said. Bradley kissed Divina and said ‘’It’s okay love, happy anniversary!’’ Divina smiled and said ‘’Happy anniversary love’’. Deep inside, Divina wanted to tell everything in the letter but she was scared to ruin this date and because of that she decided to remain silent. They enjoy the food while telling you everything that is happening in their day. After they ate, they decided to go to the balcony and look at the city lights. Divina wanted this day to be memorable and she wanted to thank Bradley for her surprise. She wanted to cry and tell Bradley everything, but she was scared about what would happen next. The letter is all she is thinking right now. She even asked herself if she would believe that letter. She didn't want to hide it from Bradley, but she also didn't want her family to be in danger. She is torn between life and death right now. She wanted this day to be memorable, she wanted this day to be happy since it was their day, but she didn't expect that this would happen. She looked at Bradley and said ''Thank you love...''

As a sign of her gratitude, she gazed open-mouthed at him and he easily understood what she wanted. He stepped towards her slowly while staring at her eyes down to her lips deeply, as if it had been his cravings for a long time. When he finally reached her in a little distance, he immediately kissed her lips and looked at her face, but her desire to do more could obviously be read in her reaction. Without his control, he kissed her again intimately while unzipping her red dress. The moment she felt that her dress plunged, it gave her the urge to unzip his pants and touch his… he carried her and carefully placed her sitting with legs wide open on a thick parapet and him between her thighs, and started to enter her restriction while hugging her and kissing her neck. She can’t take the sensation that made her pull his hair as he thrust violently, hardly, deeply inside her, warm and wet, they continue to satisfy each other until they both get as far as heaven, he carried her like newly-wed towards the bedroom and lay her down slowly.

Divina woke up and realized what they had done last night. She is naked and she is still beside Bradley. She wanted to have a special memory of Bradley before she left him. She got a piece of paper and wrote

Dear Bradley, I will not forget this day. This was the special day of my life. I want you to know that I have loved you all my life. And I wanted to say sorry for the decision that I have made right now. I need to go far away. Forget about me, Bradley. I will pursue my dream and I want you to also focus on yours. I'm sorry, but I need to do this. I hope you will understand. Thank you Bradley, I will not forget everything that we have.

She left it on the table and kissed Bradley's forehead. After that, no one knows where she went. When Bradley woke up and read the note, he immediately ran towards Divina's house. But it's too late. No one was in there. Even if Lavinia was gone, he did everything to find Divina but, in the end, he didn't find her.

Two years later...

Guillaume's company is having a party. They are celebrating the new owner of the company, which is now Bradley. He is drinking his wine not minding the people surrounding him. Everyone in the room wanted to be with him because he still didn't have a girlfriend and it was time to have one. He needs to settle for a family. After Divina left him, he doesn't want to replace her. It is even painful that she just left her for that reason and didn't have any idea why. He chose to understand her. He believes that there is a reason behind it. He knows Divina well, he knows how much she loves him. He was thinking about Divina when he heard a familiar voice on the stage. He immediately went to the front to see who it was. His eyes were only looking at the woman who was wearing a red dress. "Divina..." Divina saw him and she smiled. Divina wanted to hug and kiss him but she remained on the stage. She fixed her microphone and began to sing.

Bradley locked his eyes on Divina while she was singing. He had lots of questions going through his mind, but all he wanted right now was to hug her. He met Divina and, even two years later, he still loved her.
