Chapter 17: Mesmerize

KYO'S P.O.V

''Okay.'' I said and walked away, but before I walked, I heard what Gill said ''How do you know Kyo?'' He asked.

Why is he so serious about it? I think Gill has a crush on Annie. And I don't want to think about it because every time I think about it, I feel that I am irritated. I am close now to Annie because my sister told me so, and she doesn't need to say to me that I am willing to be close to her. Since Gill is with her, I think it's okay not to follow her. I also want her to be safe, for real. While we are walking, I look at our surroundings. I can feel that someone is looking at us, and I know that Gill and I are involved in Annie's situation. I waited in the trees where I could see her. They are talking, and I can sense that Gill likes Annie. I don't know why I feel this, but I also don't want to fall in love with Annie. While Annie was searching for her keys in her bag, I immediately pushed the guy to the side of the street.

''f**k, what are you doing?!'' He said. I pushed hard and took his collar. I can see his eyes. He is wearing a face mask.

''Why are you following that girl'' I said while insisting. He removed his face mask. But he just held my hand and punched me hard. But I stood immediately and punched him in his stomach. He coughed, but he was still standing.

''I don't know what you are talking about. I don't know who she is,'' He said and pushed me.

''Answer my question! WHY?!'' I said and now pushing him to the wall. I don't know what happened, but I lost my balance, and he ran off. But he dropped something. I picked up the mini envelope, and I could see lots of stolen pictures of Annie. Damn it! He is following her, and Annie cannot feel it. This is the reason why I followed her today. It is confirmed that someone is following her, and he is not the one who followed her. I think he is new, and the one who initially followed her was sending these pictures because those pictures were taken on the following days when she was living in an apartment. All of the photos were taken near the flats. She needs to look for another apartment or accept what my sister offered. I need to give this to my sister. She needs to know about this.

I can see Annie going out to her apartment. I immediately took a shortcut to go to school. I need to go first before she arrives. I didn't change my clothes. I think she will notice it and I don't know what I should tell her. I decided not to say to her about what happened earlier. I will look after you later.

''Kyo, you are early today!'' Annie said. I smiled. s**t, I forgot that guy punched me in my face. I looked in the other direction. ''What happened to your face, Kyo?'' I looked at her, and she was worried. I smiled and held her hand, ''Shh, I'm fine. I just bumped into the wall a while ago before I came here.''

She held my hand and pulled me inside the school. ''what are we doing here?'' We are on our way to the clinic of our school. ''Hi nurse, can I use your first aid kit?'' I said.

''Why Annie, what happened?'' the nurse said and looked at me, and I think she got it that why she got the first aid kit and gave it to Annie. She pulled me to sit on the clinic bed and put something on my face. Her face is so close to me, and I can see she is so beautiful.

''Thank you, Annie'' I said while holding her hand. We look at each other for long minutes, and she looks away. ''Next time, look at your way, okay?'' She said, and we were finished.

''Nurse, thank you so much for this'' She said and gave the nurse the first aid kit, and the nurse smiled. She walked away, and I followed her. We are on our way outside the school, and I can see Zyreel, Jenlyn, Gill, and Vyrone. Gill saw us, and she looked away.

''ANNIE!'' Zyreel said and hug Annie. ''What did you do inside the school'' She adds. Zyreel looks at me with questioning eyes. I look away for her, not to ask anything about us. ''Kyo came from the clinic because of his grades, and I came from the library,'' She said. She lied.

''What happens to your face Kyo?'' Vyrone said. ''Bump on the wall'' I said. He remains silent.

''We will use my car because it's big'' Jenly said. We are six, and I don't have my car. Also, I commute because I want to see what happens to Annie. I look at her, and she is smiling wide. I think this is the first time she will experience the amusement park because of her smile. We get inside the car, and Zyreel is driving. Vyrone is in the passenger seat. I sit next to the window, and Annie seat with me, and at the back are Gill and Jenlyn.

''Are you excited?'' I said to Annie. She smiled, and I could see the happiness in her eyes. ''Yes!'' She said. We are going to the Amusement park; I hope this trip will go well. I can see that she love amusement park.
