Chapter 15: The Truth Untold

LANDRY'S P.O.V

''Do it or else--'' I was on my way to my room when I heard the voice of my momma on the side of the garden. Out of curiosity, I slipped on the door to see who she was talking to. She is just getting to her phone.

''Sir Landry.'' I was shocked when I heard a voice at my back. ''Michael, why are you here? You are supposed to be on the outside of my room'' Michael has been my personal assistant and bodyguard, since Aunt Devina and Uncle Brandy died, as well as my father. I thought he was outside my room. I even went down just to get my medicine and he was nowhere to be found. I think mom called him.

''Who is mom calling?'' I said while going to the kitchen and he is following me. ''Mrs. Lavinia didn't say anything about that, Sir Landry.'' He said.

Mom is still in the garden talking to someone on her phone. I was about to go up when I saw a woman. She looks familiar and I think I know her. I want to see her but Michael is blocking it. ''Sir Landry, it's time for your medication and rest.'' he said. Out of curiosity, I pushed him but he came back and blocked my view. After. I give up. I don't want to waste my energy. I took the glass in his hand and the medicine. I drink it all at once. I have daily medicine because of my mind. I don't know what diagnosis I have but they said that I should drink it for me to be able to forget the pain of my past. Up until now, I still didn't have any ideas. As I drink it everyday, I am fine every day, but Michael needs to guard me every single time.

''Oh Landry, why are you still awake?'' Mom said. I looked at the garden but the woman that I saw earlier was nowhere to be found. I look at my mom but she is smiling broadly. Did she receive good news? She looks happy. ''I drank my medicine.'' I said and she smiled again. ''Good son, go to your room and rest.'' Son? They always call me son when, in fact, I am not a guy.

I was a child when I saw mom crying hysterically. She is pointing at me and shouting at my dad. I am just crying on the side of the bed looking at them in question.

''That is not my child!'' mom shouted and dad is calming her. ''She is your daughter Lavinia.'' My dad hugged me and I saw mom looking disgusted with me. ''It's been how many years and you still accept her.'' my dad said while hugging me. I don't know what I am thinking. I am still 10 years old and all I can say is that my own mom didn't want me because I am a girl.

''She can still be Guillaume, there is nothing wrong with being a girl'' Dad said. She got a knife and pointed it in her hand. ''Who will you choose Henry, me or her?!'' I saw a daw reaction, he didn't want to answer and he just looked at me and my mom. ''I don't want a girl, I want a boy, Henry.'' but after a minutes of look, he get up and hug mom and then he remove the knife off on her hand. ''Shh if you want we will raise her as a man.''

After that scene, I was raised as a man. Only the four of us know who I really am, my mom and dad, and Zach. But all of my life I have only had Zach and Gill. Zach is my cousin. He comes over to my house occasionally or if I call him. He knows who I am but Gill didn't. Being raised as a man is so hard I don't know how I am supposed to be fit for my friends. As me and Gill become friends, he sees me as a brother. We became close and, because of an unexpected thing, I fell for him. He didn't know that I was a woman and I didn't expect that I would fall for him. But suddenly he introduced his girlfriend, Alex, to me. Now, they are ex-because of what I did.

It's their anniversary and I am bothered by that, not because I love Gill, but because I saw Alex kissing someone else in the club. And she knows that I saw her and because of that she's been clingy to me and flirting with me for me not to say it to Gill about it. Because of that, I use it for Gill to know that he is being cheated by Alex.

[Landry, why are you calling me right now? Miss me, darling?] She is really flirting with me ha. Gill doesn't deserve you.

''Come over here to my house. I wanted to see you right now.'' I said in a flirting tone.

[I know you will fall for me. Gill is coming over to my dad's office. I told him that I was on my way there. Maybe he will be late. I'll go there now.] You are really making an effort Alex, is it because I am Guillaume? Pathetic woman. I wonder why Gill fell for you when, in fact, I have everything.

''Sure darling. I'll wait for you.'' I said with a husky tone.

[You're making me wet Mr. Guillaume.] After that, I ended the call. I can't flirt with her anymore. Now for finally, I will call Gill so that he will come over to my house so that he can see who Alex is.

[Landry, why?] After a few seconds, he answered my call.

''Do you have time? Come here. I have a problem'' I know how Gill take care of me, my mental health and other health problems. He knows everything about me and I am confident that he will come over to my house.

[What happened? I'm on my way to Alex. It's our anniversary,] He said, Alex didn't remember that it's your anniversary day and then here you are making an effort with her. She doesn't deserve you.

[I need you right now, Gill.] Really need you Gill... He didn't respond and I ended my call immediately. It will look like an emergency. He might panic coming here. I know it. I am confident.

After a few minutes, Alex is outside my house now. She is fast, deseprate. Alex is now smiling, wearing a sexy outfit. Long slit dress, well played Alex. ''Hi Landry'' she said in a flirty tone. I held her waist and put her close to me. She was shocked but I saw how horny she was. ''What did you take so long, darling?'' I whispered in her ear. ''Ugh Landry'' I kissed her torridly and held her butt. I know how to kiss a woman, since I need to look like a man to others. I carry her, not breaking our kiss, and put her into bed. I stopped to remove my coat but she didn't want to stop the kiss.

''Alex...'' We stopped when we heard Gill's voice. It was on time.

''Gill? What are you doing here?'' Alex was also stunned when she saw him.

''I called him,'' I said in a cold tone.

''Damn you, Landry! I can't believe that you would do this to me!'' He punched me and it really hurt, but I don't care about the pain. I was born with this, and my mom taught me how to act like a man. So this is not new to me.

''GILL STOP!'' Alex hugs him, and she is crying. Damn you woman, why are you crying? You did this and now you look like a victim here.

''Don't touch me, Alex. Landry is my best friend. Why?!'' She is just crying and Gill pushes her. He went outside and I followed him.

''Gill, I did this for you! I wanted to show you that Alex doesn't deserve you.'' I said, holding his arms.

''f**k you, Landry! You did this for yourself!'' And that hit me, he looked in pain. What did I do? I make him look like that. I just want to help and show him that Alex doesn't deserve him. He picked up all the flowers and chocolate and threw them in front of us.

''Oh, here's my little surprise for you, Alex. I did that by myself. I even plant a rose and bake those chocolates. And what is your surprise? Happy Anniversary, Alex! Thank you for your love and pain. I hope you are both happy.'' I looked at all of it on the floor. I want that kind of flower and chocolate. I want to experience that kind of effort from him. After he threw it, he went inside his car and drove away. I saw the car moving away from me.

''Landry, what will I going to do?'' She said in a pitiful tone. I looked at her with a cold look. ''Fix yourself and don't come back here again. I don't want to see your face.'' I said and went inside.

When I remember that day, it really pains me. Because of that, Gill becomes cold to me. Damn you, Landry. Stupid move. Now Gill is mad at me. If I only grew normal. If only I were a woman, this would not happen. Why do I need to be a guy? It feels like I am strangled and not free. How I wish I could be normal..
