Are you ok: she asked strongly (oh dear that's Mommas full name) I said shocked. :It's not me, Momma...: Momma assured as she choked on the words :then who is it: Grandmother asked sternly. Mommas eyes started to tear up and fear and worry started to show on her face. :Momma...its my baby girl, Jasmine... Tell me what happened: Grandmother said in a calm voice. :So this morning me and Peter were talking about how Malakie would stay with a friend for the night when Jasmine came running into the hallway calling for Peter. She said she wanted to show us something and she started humming then these beautiful colored lights began to shine around her shaping into what looked like the northern lights. We were stunned silent and she didn't know what was going on when we told her not to use it again. She said ok and walked away obviously she was sad but she didn't say anything else. Then once she was out of sight Peter and I started to freak out. We agreed we should call you and Vanessa but then all of a sudden we heard a big crash so we ran towards where Jasmine was and found her on the floor gasping for hair with blood coming from her nose. So we called an ambulance and they took her to the hospital ER and when Dr. Williams came out...” “who's Dr. Williams” grandmother interrupted. “You know him. He's an old friend from school when we were little we played doctor. He's the one who became a doctor, anyways he came out and told us she was ok and stable so we could go see her. He said he couldn't find anything wrong and thought it was an allergic reaction but she's not allergic to anything is the thing and we told him that so he was puzzled and said that if anything else happens then to come back. Then he took us back to Jasmine’s room. I was so happy to see my baby was alright but when we asked her how she was doing. She said 'fine but what's going on' and that worried us. So Dr. Williams did some exams on her and it turned out she gained Retrograde amnesia which is where she's unable to recollect the events that occurred before the amnesia set in. So she won't be able to remember a certain amount of time before the amnesia occurred. So all she lost was her memories of today but we don't know if she'll get her memories back or if even at all. So now the hospitals printers messed up so we're stuck here till the afternoon or overnight and that's everything: Momma said finishing. “Ok well as long as she doesn't find out she has the gift, then she'll be fine for now because she can gain them back in the foreseeable future. So because of that if she does use these new powers the same episode that she had today with occur again and again getting worse and worse. Although this particular gift is different for every family member. So it can say that this is liable, your aunt would probably say the same things to: grandmother said. :So y'all can't do anything: Momma said sadly :well if there is a problem I can come see her with your aunt but there's only a small number of things we can do to help. Still you need to keep in mind your aunt and I are capable of dying easily from energy depletion. Speechless I did nothing. I just stayed floating there staring at the younger versions of Momma and Daddy. When suddenly the world I was watching started to darken and fade away dragging me away my body getting higher and higher as the darkness swallowed me. (Wait that's all? No, I need to know more! That can't be all) I said confused as everything was once again dark. The only color I noticed was Samuel who was steadily floating beside me. (Why did it go dark again? Why did you show me that Samael) I said my voice echoing once more. (You needed those memories that were lost, locked away fare in your memories) Samael explained calmly. (Why? Why now? Why was it locked anyway? Why now of all times did you show me that?) I asked troubled (You know why! It's because you're at the point in this illness that there's so much pain. It's at the point where even Dr. Williams can't help you. All he can do is show you how much time you have and even that's uncertain he can tell you how that blue death in your body is growing and killing you) he stated (Look I know! I know that there's nothing he can do! I know this crap inside of me is killing me but that still doesn't explain why Momma and Daddy still never explain any of this to me. I mean they could have at least told Malakie I mean there was a huge misunderstanding between me, you, and Malakie because of these stupid powers, Because you mistook Malakie for me, because you thought Malakie had these powers, this CURES! You died you're DEAD!) I said aggravatedly as tears gathered making my eyes glossy. (Yes and I understand that and that was my fault, not you, not Malakie, and certainly not your parents they didn't tell you anything to protect you.) (Why? Why protect me? Why protect me from something that can't be stopped, something that's inevitable? Why didn't they just tell me they had plenty of time?) I asked. (Because their greatest fear was that you would possibly get your memories back along with your power. Moreover if that had happened the same thing that’s happening now would have happened even sooner. Everyone would have lost you) Samael explained (you have a point but what now? What should I do? What can I do?) I asked. (Now?...you go back home to your family and friends) he said his face looking pained (what do you mean go home? What about you) I asked distraught (my place is here now! He looked at me unrealistically (I really truly see you as a brother honest. Even when I was mad at you and Malakie I couldn't say y'all weren't my family I always wished y'all would come back and you both did.) I explained honestly (that's nice Jasmine but I don't deserve that kindness. I don't get to have a second chance especially with you, and I don't deserve a family. There's no way for me to have a second chance anyways and nothing can change that. I mean of all the things you should hate me) he said honestly (that’s not true. Samael everyone deserves a family and everyone deserves a second chance. Ok you can only do it when you're literally seconds from death and even then there's no going back there's even the chance it'll rebound and do the opposite it'll kill you instantly. While trying it while not close to death is even worse because that blue death in your chest and head it'll worsen kill you even but if that doesn't kill you’ll be in so much pain you'll wish it had killed you. So please don't ever try it not even when you are dying.) Samael said seriously his eyes filled with worry and kindness (--Sigh-- ok I won't try it ok I promise) I promised (by the way, why'd you call my illness blue death) I asked curiously. (It's the main color of your powers I've noticed) Samael explained delightedly (how do you know I've had lots of colors when the sparkles occur.) I stated (it's the first color that shows when your powers take their shape but then they immediately change to a different color) he clarified. (Hm that's cool but I had two first times. So if I remember correctly the shape and color my powers took was the aurora borealis with a rainbow-like color to it but I forgot about my powers and they didn't truly show signs until I fought you. They were the color and shape of blue fire so would that mean I have two colors) I asked attentively. (I'm not sure I mean it could be that because you lost your memories your body and abilities couldn't form properly till when we fought or they were already formed and you just needed a great emotional impact) Samael explained. (So what I'm hearing right now is just a big I don't know) I stated (yea pretty much) Samael laughed (ok well that's helpful and not helpful. Well I guess it's not like it matters what color my death will be) I chuckled slightly (anyways you said the next thing I needed to do was to wake up right) I asked to make sure (yes that is correct) Samael clarified. (Huh and where have you been) I asked confused (time to go) Samael said as his voice echoed, everything going dark and quiet as Samael went out of sight.
