Arcadius is not used to sleeping on a soft bed. He is enjoying it. This new world he woke up in is not so bad after all. He has a lot to learn, but first, he must let these young wolves and the old hag trust him. He is not planning to be at their mercy forever. He knows the Champion is dead by now, and he has time, though, to plan and to find out everything about this new world and if the council of magic still exists. He will destroy them before they can develop another plan to put him back in the book! He does not want to sleep for decades again. He doesn't want the wolves to find out just how cunning he is. He has time to make them believe he has changed. No Champion this time to save the world. Arcadius falls asleep dreaming of ruling this new world he has to wake up in.
