They also possess an overwhelming lust for treasure, especially gold, and are well known for sleeping on hoards of all they had stolen. By their very nature, they relish not only the theft of beautiful things but the act of dispossession itself; essentially, it is more satisfying for them to steal treasure from another rather than come upon unclaimed valuable. Dragons are prone to fits of rage, resulting in devastating effects upon the surrounding land and those living on it. The reasons behind their strong affinity for gold are unknown.
