Tom is waiting for Markus and Norma. He is excited as he thinks he knows where they can find an egg of the phoenix egg. He always wants to go but could never go on his own as he was afraid to get injured when he goes alone. Markus and Norma walk over to where Tom is waiting for them. He is dressed in hiking gear. Markus smiles at his old friend.
"Hi Tom," Markus says. Tom does not know they are werewolves as Markus prefers to keep it a secret. He does not want to spook Tom. Although he knows Tom believes in the mystical creatures and that they existed, he does not know that they still exist.
