After Ellerosé told Livana that her brother Diamon was on the way, they sat silently, waiting for his arrival. All types of thoughts were running through Livana's mind. 'What if, on his way here, he kills anyone or destroys anything in his path to get here? What if someone gets injured or hurt? What if he tries to hurt Ellerosé and blames her for not keeping a close eye on me? What if...' Livana's thoughts were interrupted by a loud knock on the door; she jumped a little at the sound as it startled her. Livana was lost in her thoughts, before realising who it was by the smell.
Livana's hands tightened at her dress in her lap before Ellerosé walked over to open the door. Livana took a few deep, slow breaths before looking up and turning her head slowly to look towards the door. There stood a tall, slim vampire with red hair that looked spiky but also slick at the same time. His eyes were a golden colour that slightly resembled black coal. Without waiting any longer, Livana stood up in a flash and turned towards where her brother was, folding her hands in front of her, silently muttering under her breath, "Diamon..."
Diamon went to the lounge and sat down without a word; Livana looked over at Ellerosé, who was slightly crouching over, keeping her head down. You can understand why most vampires, or anyone else, would fear any royals as they have this aura or vibe. Or should mainly say when they are in this state, when their eyes turn a pitch coal-cold colour with red highlights around them, you just instantly know you have f****d up and that you will have no mercy on them. Livana sat back down on the lounge in silence until she heard a stern warning voice from her brother. " You. Know. Why I am here, don't you, dear sister?" I closed my eyes briefly before taking a deep breath and turning my head slightly towards my brother "Yes. I do know why..." Livana then looked down slightly at the floor, not giving any signs of excuse.
"Then I think you should go pack your things up immediately, and then we shall be on our way," Livana heard her brother say in a cold, harsh voice. "I shall also be the one to make sure nothing happens to you or let you out of my sight," he continued, directing his harsh words toward Ellerosé, as if to make her feel horrible. "What do you think my father would say to you, Ellerosé? Hm? How you have failed to closely monitor my sister and your future queen."
Ellerosé stood there in silence, flinching at his words, while saying in a low, sad, regretful tone, "I- I don't know, sir..." Livana stood up, facing her brother with the same cold glare. "It wasn't her fault, Diamon. If anyone should be blamed and punished, it is me. I went off on my own, knowing damn well how dangerous it could be out there. So, blame me, but..." Livana lowered her head slightly to darken her glare at Diamon before saying harshly, "Do. Not. Blame. Ellerosé."
Diamon had then looked at Livana before snickering and stood up quickly over towering her by a mile, "oh sis," he began to say while taking a step closer and bending down to her level with his face inches away, "you have no idea, do you?, you see our father had in trusted Ellerosé with his very existence to make sure she kept an eye on you and never have you out of her sight to make sure nothing happens to the future queen of the underworld-" Livana raised her hand slapping her brother across the face so hard that it left a red mark on his cheek, followed by a bruise.
Diamon stood there for a bit in shock before chuckling a dark, eerie villain-ish laugh, stopping, and glaring at Livana with a cold look, and grabbing her right forearm tightly. Livana winced a bit at the slightest pain but held her glare gaze at him, and before she could say anything else, he lifted her up and swung her over his shoulder and began walking towards the door.
"Ellerosé, grab all the belongings and follow," without any hesitation, Ellerosé dashed in a blur, got everything packed and ready, and followed closely behind. "Diamon!" Livana began to say, "Put me down this instant!" But Diamon completely ignored his sister and continued carrying her over his shoulder. This just pissed Livana off even more and she began to hit him on his back with her clenched fists while continuing to shout at him to put her down, but of course, that still wasn't working.
Livana sighed and pouted, looking annoyed while showing a frown. Diamon kept walking down the stairs of the apartment buildings and out onto the sidewalks, with Ellerosé close behind with the belongings. They made so many sharp turns in the dark alleyways, and Diamon, of course, used his speed walk, which would be a blurred motion to a human eye.
As the three walked down dark alleyways, it grew increasingly quiet, almost eerily so, as we ventured deep into the dark forest on the city's edge. They made sure to stay out of sight as they walked deeper into the forest until finally coming to a stop. Diamon began chanting words to open a portal to the underworld.
Once still and silent, the trees began to sway, and a bright flash of light appeared, indicating that the portal was opening to an unfamiliar place in the underworld. Livana looked back at the sight and realised they were already walking toward the portal leading back to the underworld. As they stepped inside, the portal quickly closed behind them. Before it closed, Livana took one more look at the Earth's Forest and saw the bright city lights on the horizon before they finally disappeared. Sadness filled Livana's eyes as she doubted whether she would ever be able to return. It seemed that she might never be able to leave the underworld as she wished and might never be able to leave the palace walls again.
