Chapter 4 - Finally Experiencing The Outside World

As time passed, Ellerosé had checked the time and it read 6:30 pm, meaning the sun had gone down. Livana and Ellerosé both went to get ready to go out and explore the city they were in, Livana put on a short knee-length black dress with black heels, before then applying some natural make-up on. Ellerosé wore a mini pink skirt with a small pink cropped tank top and had white heeled shoes that went up to her knees, she had her hair up in a long ponytail. Livana had kept her hair down as she always liked having it down, they then took mini purses and headed out, they also made sure to close and lock our apartment door behind them before leaving.

As Livana and Ellerosé walked down the stairs and onto the city's walkway, they headed towards the little diner that was on the other side of the road. Once over on the other side of the road, the two continued their way to the diner's entranceway and opened the door, which the small bell that was connected to the door rang, letting the workers inside know they had customers. "hello, and welcome to one of the well-known diners around how may we help you?" once they were welcomed, Livana and Ellerosé looked to see a small, fragile human wearing a light pink dress with a white apron on and a white maid look like headpiece stand in front of them.

Ellerosé smiled "table for two please", the girl then grabbed two menus and cutlery before leading the two to the back of the diner to the two seated table, and placed the menus and cutlery down. Ellerosé and Livana followed and sat at the allocated table looking over the menu, "hmm" Livana started to say while looking at the menu, not sure if she could stomach any of these items they had.

not long after, Livana could sense and smell another vampire's presence other than Ellerosé very close by, the scent of the other vampire smelt sweet, but Livana shook her head, ignoring the scent. Livana then asked Ellerosé if they had anything that we could have, Ellerosé looked up before calling over one of the workers, to ask if they had anything that was rare available for them.

Livana looked up to see that the girl who had come over to serve them standing still, Livana could see her skin turn pale like all the blood had left her body as she stared in shock before then coming to her senses and walked towards the bar, she then got out two what seemed to be blood bags? 'How the f**k does she know that we are-..' Livana was then interrupted by yet another scent, but this time it was of more vampires, huh seems this city is full of other vampires living among the humans, which the humans here must know who is a vampire and who isn't, she thought to herself.

When the girl returned to our table, she handed the two blood bags to Livana and Ellerosé; as Livana grabbed the blood bags, she stared at them, observing closely and even smelling them to see which one she could have, as she needed special blood to take as she's a royal.

Yes, royal vampires drink different blood types from non royal vampires, as the special blood helps royals stay strong and focused. As they also have powers, for example, Livana can read minds, transform into a bat and most of all can control any vampire to either do what she wanted or to distract them and destroy them or even let them know when they have crossed the limit, sometimes with other royals it is a bit challenging to control them, but Livana has been practising on her parents over the years so that she can master it. But she use it when it is only necessary to do so.

After having a snack, Ellerosé got up and went over to the counter to pay, Livana then got up and began to walk over, as she walked passed the closed doors leading to the kitchen, Livana smelt that of a presence again, which she could not figure what it could be. Livana didn't stop to see though, and continued walking towards Ellerosé, where she had finished paying, they both thanked the staff before heading outside.

"Where to next?" Livana asked Ellerosé, who then turned and smiled "Can you dance any other dance than the waltz?" Livana looked at her confused before replying back, "Um..I wouldn't say i'm that good of a dancer..why?" Ellerosé proceeded on with, "oh because I know one of the most popular nightclubs here. We could go check it out, if ya up for it that is" Ellerosé then smirked a teasing smile at Livana, which Livana rolled her eyes before looking dead straight into Ellerosé's eyes saying "bring.it.on" as she smiled a challenge accepted smile towards her, and with that Ellerosé grabbed Livana's arm while smiling back and began walking down the walkway as they laughed while heading towards the night club.

Livana always knewthat Ellerosé was the party type, she would always tell her what it was likewhenever she comes and visits. She would go on to tell Livana all the storiesand adventures she would always have, and how some experiences from outside ofthe palace underworld can be a little scary, if you don't know what you aredoing. Now Livana is experiencing all of this for the first time. She is enjoying it all, not having to do or think of any royal responsibilities, Livanaloves being this free and being able to do anything without following any royalrules or even being escorted by any guards .. well she does have one with her,but one who is fun and is her friend who she sees very much like an older sister. Livana wishes she could do all of these fun things all the time, but as they say, all good things must eventually come to an end.
