Chapter 5 Helicopter Escape

1532 Words
After receiving the order, Carlin boarded the helicopter. At this time, Carlin did not notice anything strange in the helicopter. He was busy relaying Ryon's orders to the other soldiers, "Listen, we need to start Operation Devil Hunt this evening." Those who heard the order were immediately all shocked. "But it's General Wyndell's wedding night. Why would he want to start the operation tonight?" "Wow, is General Wyndell trying to prevail over Mrs. Wyndell from the very first encounter?" "Funny. But I think if General Wyndell wants to make a real conquest of Mrs. Wyndell, he just needs to do some little romantic things. No need to make a big deal." "Come on. General Wyndell's aim is to conquer Mrs. Wyndell with charm. A man who conquers a woman's heart can conquer everything. You know nothing! " The helicopter has an enclosed space and therefore has an excellent echo effect. Hearing these words from Carlin's headset, Christine gritted her teeth in anger in the helicopter. Are these the men of Ryon? Is it their job to get together all day and gossip? Carlin was about to start the helicopter when he noticed a familiar object against the back of his head. The miniature headset on his ear had been ripped off by Christine. "Don't move. Or I will give you a bullet in the brain." "Mrs. Wyndell?" Christine stared at him with a grin, saying, "What were you just talking about? Sounds interesting." "Ops... Mrs. Wyndell, we were just joking around." She pulled the trigger to the sky and said, "I don't have time to joke around it with you. Get me out of here, right now." Carlin looked at the security camera. He tried to call for help, but Christine had cut off all power to the surveillance without knowing when. Wow, she really deserves to be the woman General Wyndell loves. Look at how smart and calm she is. "Mrs. Wyndell, please take it easy. I'm just going to take off." There were two buttons in front of Carlin, the red one to start the engine and the blue one to sound the alarm. When Christine immediately grabbed his little finger, Carlin was about to press the blue button. "What are you doing?" Christine broke Carlin's pinky finger, causing him to draw a swift breath. "Oh, you must have misunderstood something. Since you're so dishonest, I think I'll just have to put this pistol to use." "Wait, Mrs. Wyndell. I'm not only General Wyndell's assistant but also his best friend. Please have mercy on me." Carlin wasn't afraid of death. He just felt it would be too unworthy to be killed by his best friend's wife. Christine pretended to consider it seriously for a moment. Then, the corners of her lips curved up in a weird way. She said, "I heard that Ryon organized the Flying Team. Seventy-two members of the team, including you, are all extremely friendly. You are even willing to die together." Carlin nodded her head in a hurry. "Do you care about each other that much? Well, that gives me a good idea." After a while, Carlin was hanging outside the helicopter. He was in a terrible mess because the only thing holding his weight together was a belt. Furthermore, he was wearing a pair of tight cartoon underwear. He regretted it. Why did I wear cartoon underwear today? What if Mrs. Wyndell flew the helicopter over the barracks. My God. I don't want those soldiers to see my cartoon underwear! Wait... Maybe my safety hazard is the thing I should be most worried about right now. Christine looked at the helicopter's operating instructions and tried to fly it a few times. At first, she couldn't find her balance, but soon she was off smoothly. Hanging out, Carlin was nearly forced to hit a tree. He screamed in terror, "Mrs. Wyndell, please! Let me in!" "Ah! Mrs. Wyndell, Helicopters are not that easy to operate. For your safety, better let me come in and take care of it! Can you hear me?" He instantly got the reply to his despair, "Sorry, it's my first time flying a helicopter." Carlin nearly passed out. Mrs. Wyndell hung me out of the helicopter the first time she flew it? Oh my God. I'm definitely going to die today. At that moment, several helicopters appeared to surround the helicopter Christine was in. Christine put her headphones in her ears, "Listen, all of you. If you don't want your brothers to die, get out of my way." The helicopters didn't move at all. Christine smiled coldly. Then, she opened the hatch and slowly lowered the belt down, moving Carlin further and further away from the helicopter. "Ah! OH MY GOD! Help! Please don't... please don't do that, Mrs. Wyndell." Christine laughed so hard she couldn't straighten up. But soon, she felt as if a pair of hawk-like eyes had been staring at her. Looking at the woman grinning on the screen, Ryon smiled contentedly. He said, "Well, Christine is so beautiful at this moment. I love her so much." Adjutant Austin, who was standing behind Ryon, instantly heaved a great sigh of relief. Austin also found out that Christine and Ryon were as ruthless as each other. It seems that they are destined to become a family. He took a quick glance at the woman on the screen. He understood that the rumor that Mayor Ygritte's eldest daughter was a gentle and virtuous person was a complete rumor. "Ahem... General Wyndell, if we let Mrs. Wyndell continue to do this, Carlin's life will be in real danger. "If he would die because of such a girl, he doesn't deserve to be a member of the Flying Team." Hearing Carlin's cries and looking at Carlin's flashy cartoon underwear, Ryon wondered how he had picked Carlin to be in the Flying Team. Adjutant Austin reminded, "But don't you forget Carlin is a computer genius. There's no code he can't decipher." Hearing these words, Ryon got up and walked out. Then, into his headset, he said, "Make way for Mrs. Wyndell." According to Ryon's analysis, Christine might know very well that she can't fly far in this helicopter with Burchella's logo. If Christine left Burchella's controlled area, she would become the target of enemy attacks. So Christine's only destination was the airport. Boarding his particular plane, Ryon smiled and thought, "My little fox, I'll see you at the airport. " By now, the soldiers had received the order and quickly made way for Christine. Christine flew the wobbly helicopter toward the airport. Seeing the airport in the distance, Christine suddenly thought of the complex technical task of landing a plane that she, a novice, could not accomplish at all. She then dragged Carlin, who was almost fainting with fear, into the helicopter and said, "Pick a safe place to land!" Carlin was thrilled to be back from the dead. He obediently carried out Christine's orders. Christine couldn't help but laugh and say, "I didn't think Ryon had someone as timid as you in his army. If I'm the real enemy, then you're already a traitor. How on earth did you get chosen by him in the first place?" "Don't insult General Wyndell. It's just not my specialty to fight wars." After the helicopter landed safely, Christine strapped Carlin into his seat, patted him on the head, and said, "Bye, little Carlin!" As she closed the hatch, Christine took another look at the cartoon underwear Carlin was wearing. Then, she laughed and said, "You're cute. Love your underwear." Carlin drew a swift breath. He would rather never see Mr. Wyndell again. Christine entered the airport and soon noticed something strange. She then flashed into the restroom... When Christine came out of the restroom, she was already dressed as a different person. At this point, she scratched with heavy makeup, combing the large curve, wearing an extraordinarily gaudy low-cut skirt and a pair of sunglasses that almost covered half of her tiny and delicate face. At that exact moment, Ryon sat quietly in the airport surveillance room. He stared unblinkingly at the screen. Then, he smiled. You just changed your clothes and hairstyle? Unfortunately, I was still able to recognize you at once. Suddenly, Ryon heard Adjutant Austin say to him through the headset, "General, we've got Mrs. Wyndell. We're sending her over to you right away." "Let her go." Adjutant Austin was stunned, thinking he had heard wrong. He turned around and held up the chin of the "Mrs. Wyndell" they had caught. Just then, he realized they had the wrong person. The woman shivered and said, "It's not my business. A woman gave me a sum of money to swap clothes with me." By now, Christine had arrived at the boarding gate without any hindrance. She deliberately chatted with the handsome man beside her. To outsiders, they appeared to be a couple. "So, tell me. What kind of girls do you like?" The handsome man looked at her with fascination and even forgot to answer her. At that moment, Christine suddenly heard someone behind her say, "The curvey ones." The voice was eerily frightening.
