I couldn't sleep. I had been lying in bed for what felt like hours, tossing and turning, tangling myself in the sheets until I wanted to scream.
Every time I closed my eyes, all I could see was Julius. Julius at dinner, sitting so close I could feel his body heat. Julius's hand on my lower back, burning through my shirt.
Julius crowding me against the counter, his breath on my neck, his body surrounding mine in a way that had made me forget how to breathe.
And before that, the way he had f****d me on what was supposed to be my wedding day. The way he made me come so hard I saw stars. The way his hands had felt on my body.
I rolled onto my back, staring at the ceiling. My body was restless and aching. I wanted him.
The admission was uncomfortable but I couldn't deny it anymore.
