A FEW HOURS AGO••• *** [Camilla] I was running through the unkempt woods, my feet catching on so many loose vines and overgrown roots that stood in the way. I shifted into wolf form mid-stride, letting the transformation take me because four legs were faster than two. My body stretched and reformed, bones cracking and reshaping painfully until I was running on all fours, my paws finding better purchase on the uneven ground. I was still hurt from the earlier encounter. Not bleeding anymore, fortunately, my werewolf healing had managed to close the worst of the gunshot wounds. But it still hurt like hell. Every step sent jolts of pain through my shoulder and stomach where the bullets had torn through flesh and muscle. Still, not once did I let myself fall face-first to the ground.
