19 The next morning, Evelyn Ramirez presented the results of Neda Fourman’s postmortem to Rebecca. With no relatives to object, it took no time to obtain needed approvals to dig up the body. Evelyn was so curious about what she might find, she performed the autopsy during the night. She was over the moon that she now had autopsied two—count them, two—cases of batrachotoxin poisoning.
