As nothing but a garbled version of this remarkable case has hitherto been made public, I propose now to relate the whole story, since there is no longer any necessity for concealment. At the time that what I am here about to tell occurred, every effort was made to hush the matter up, and, having regard to the interests involved and the high personages concerned, this was, perhaps, excusable.
